DIY or purchased cockpit....

Hi!
This is probably here somewhere already but I stink at searching and couldnt find it…

I am looking at getting a wheel (after the new ones are released and reviews are out) and will want a cockpit of some kind. Have any of you done a DIY cockpit? Got plans? If you did then a pic would be awesome. I found a couple vids on line but those look horrible. I think might be better off spending a bit more for a cockpit that has a seat already and such. Any purchase suggestions? Figure I can spend about $350 max.

Main benefit to a DIY is that its easily stored and the seat could still be usable for general gaming. Concerned it might not be very rigid though.

Well, that of course is a matter of how much you are willing to spend. I found a lot of different ones on YouTube. The skys the limit if you have the money.

Just an FYI. I just bought the cheap $100.00 version of the Thrustmaster Wheel and Pedals. I actually like it quite a bit. I really didn’t want to spend the $400.00 on the force feedback version in case I ended up not liking it but I am very pleased with the wheel.
