disappointed!!!!

So i paid 100 bucks for forza motorsport 6 version 2? same crap physics ( game shouldve been called forza understeer 7 ), same stupid aero kits, i can only use my vip bonuses for 25 races, racecars are way to sensative, and no open lobby your stuck doin these dumb preorganized races. Turn 10 u failed once again only forza product ill be buying from now on are the horizon series see they dont pretend to be something they are not its an arcade racer and its always been promoted like that, motorsports is supposed to be a simulator quit the simcade nonsense. Just like motorsport 6 i wont be waiting for any updates to see if the game gets better. Like i told my friends u guys rock when it comes to engine and exhaust notes but after 7 titles u guys are still playing catch up with gran turismo in the handling department. Guess ill wait the two weeks and trade in fm7 for gt sport. Hope u guys take your time for the next motosports game and get things right.

So, to gauge the physics, are you comparing FM7 to other racing games or actual driving?

Forza’s physics have been steadily getting casual over the iterations I agree, but at the same time, they have also introduced a reasonable amount of nuance in the driving model. The driving is for the most part depicted accurately though it does leave a lot to desire because it’s not exactly a training tool for aspiring pro race drivers.

You need to be mindful of your braking points and downshift at the right time as well. Also, turning the analog stick all the way for turns that don’t require it can result in unnecessary understeer, just like real life in situations when you rely excessively on steering alone and not enough on manipulating the brakes/throttle appropriately to steer, or downshift strategically.

Can you mention specific tracks or turns where you experience this “horrendous understeer”? Please mention what car you were driving, and at what speed you took the turn. Stock or tuned.

ive used stock and tuned cars, ive used my thrustmaster wheel and controller, doesnt matter the driving dynamics of this game is no where near todays simulators. this is there 7th title it shouldve been up to par with project cars, assetto corsa, even gt6 driving model is better than this and that was on the ps3.

Beats the heck out of Project Cars on a controller. The generic aero kits have been around for awhile. The VIP is allegedly being changed to what everyone is used to per the note in the sticky up top… I haven’t had a problem with understeer, but counter steering seems a bit more twitchy.

I actually feel the countersteering is much more believable this time around, so less twitchy and more progressive. You feel the weight and momentum shifting underneath you when correcting slides. Just me?

It might be more believable. It’s not ridiculously twitchy like counter steering in 6 on a controller with Simulation steering. Part of what I was experiencing was the FWD grabbing on counter steer like it never had in previous games. Once I started to get used to it, it did make it feel more controlled. I don’t often deal with counter steering, but I ended up so far ahead in the Hot Hatch that I started playing around with drifting. I’ve enjoyed the feeling of weight to the cars since 5, and this may just be another step up in that regard.

@Ti Hsien better than project cars 1 agreed, but project cars 2 feel way better on controller than fm7.
@chielhier313 vip reward bonuses are getting fixed hasnt been resolved.
