I’m starting to get this feeling that forza horizon 4 is focused mainly on content and not addressing some bugs that are still in the game that affect a good amount of players, like for example not having in-game volumes from not hearing the engine to not being able to hear anything but for me my problems stems from not being able to reach speeds up to 270+mph it would just stop me instantly at 200-245mph and I don’t know why, I have the Xbox one s and a 4K TV that runs at 60 fps and sometimes I don’t have any in game audio no sound nothing with some bugs that don’t get addressed or get patched and it frustrating for me to know that my favourite game I loved is now one of my most disappointing games of 2018 and going into 7 months into 2019 it’s hard for me to keep playing, just knowing that there are things that haven’t been fixed yet. If you’re a staff member at Turn 10, playground games and you’re reading this I know you guys are working hard on other projects and upcoming content but it’s also important to fix issues that should have been fix from day one but I have faith in what you guys do in the future.
I get no sound on my Xbox and a reset fixes it. It happens on many games not just Forza.
This is honestly a great post. Expressing your frustration, the reasoning behind it, and still empathizing with the developers is too rare in most gaming communities. I am a die-hard Horizon fan and a huge fan of the devs, I think Torbin, Retro and everyone is super cool from watching them every month on series updates. But damn, I really hope they take their time with the next Horizon and really clean house with the issues that need addressing.
I’ve had issues, no sound, freezing, crash to Xbox Home screen… and found it to be hardware related. Uninstall, reinstall usually fixed it for me until I had to finally replace the unit. (Had one Xbox One X last only 3 months before I had to send it back for a new hard drive.)
May not be your problem, but thought I’d mention it.
