Today’s content update just addresses some fixes and should be smaller than the monthly updates (closer to .1 GB than 1.0). Retweet this to help inform the community of what it is:
Unfortunately the hotfix broke Dolby Atmos. All Xbox X sounds work fine, all other games work fine, But if I have FH4 with ATMOS the receiver produces no sound (but does maintain that its receiving an ATMOS signal). Please look into this.
There’s an article on support.forzamotorsport.net about game crashing at startup along with other tech issues articles; if the workarounds listed don’t resolve your issue, use the Submit a Ticket link at the bottom of the articles to contact the Forza Support team.
Already did, the issue is directly related to the patch. Was playing this morning fine with ATMOS, but after the patch, no audio from FH4 with the Xbox One X set to ATMOS. All system sounds and all other games work fine, this includes multiple restarts, sounds only works with PCM 7.1.
After installing this update, I can’t launch the game. After the screen showing all of the copyrights and brand names that shows up after the initial Senna splash screen, my game just breaks and closes without an error message- it’s like nothing happened. I’m trying some of the fixes listed on their website, and I’m trying to delete some of the game’s save data because it might be corrupt. However, I don’t know which to delete- my account or the one that just says “Reserved Space.” I’m worried that either one could delete some of my in-game content, like all of my liveries. Does anyone know what I should do?
This update had broken my game on PC. Game requirements are way higher and there’s bigger chance of freezing.
Before the update I could play on low and it worked (it was crashing with medium settings)
Now it crashes with ultra low.
Since doing the update, my game will not get past the Playground games screen. Just crashes and goes back to the home screen, then keeps giving a message about not having a disc in the Xbox, why? i’m using the digital version.
