While playing the Drivers Cup I cannot run a clean lap. No matter what I do (even though I know I’m running a clean lap) it shows my laps as dirty in the post race leaderboard. Is anyone else having issues with this?
No I am not having no issues once I am in the lead my laps are clean it is just when the race starts it is not clean
This is probably because you are “drafting” the AI.
Drafting has always caused dirty laps. You need to run a lap either way ahead of the pack or way behind to avoid the draft penalty.

Turn off the friction assist

This. Friction assist is on by default. With friction assist enabled, it will dirty your lap.
Make sure it’s off, then go out there and set some top times.

I’m already half a lap ahead typically by the end of the first lap so drafting isn’t an issue. I’m running clean lines and everything. So I’m not sure what the issue is.
I’m pretty sure I have all assits off, but I’ll double check that!
it can be caused by a car being right up behind you as well

If you turn on rewind or the notification for rewind you can tell. If it tells you to rewind you dirtied your lap but it will not tell you to rewind from a draft.

That’s the issue, it’s not notifying me to rewind.

Any chance you can upload a video so we can see it in action? Mind you it doesn’t help that we no longer get the dirty lap indicator next to our lap time whilst running in race! Another strange decision!

I have this issue too… even better, i started a 10 laps run on Prag without any AIs, all 10 rounds i drove without any cuttings or hits, just clean laps… all laps got a dirty lap indicator…
