Not sure how to give a direct link and it’s a video of people starting some cars…

I’ve never seen anything on this unfortunately. I know that FM7 is supposed to have upped the sound of the cars a lot with transmission sounds and driveline flex I believe.

The only thing I have seen is this video comparing the sound of FM6 and FM7. Forza Motorsport 7 vs Forza 6 - Graphics and sound gameplay - Rain - YouTube

Transmissions sounds are a bit load in chase cam in my opinion, but overall it is an improvement over FM6.

Back to the thread title - I hope they have included upgrade sounds this time around. That really needs to happen. It was done very well in FM2 and it feels really silly to up your car to nearly 1000 HP and not see sport/race exhaust pipes at the rear bumper or have the car’s audio character change dramatically.

I hope they actually record the cars sounds. Some of them sound nothing like their real counterparts, just generic L4, v6, v8 etc

That’s true - it bothers me a little to have them include over 700 cars on launch. How can they possibly model performance/handling and audio characteristics for all of them. We will again see favorites this time around. I hope not, but seems likely.

I want the car sounds in Forza to sound organic and REAL and really really dirty/aggressive for the higher HP and modded cars, not docile, clean-sounding, robotic samples.
