Yesterday when i started playing the game, i received a message stating that i had reached elite status and as a consequence my design earnings had effectively tripled. Today i logged in and i have been demoted back to professional status? This has worried me slightly as can i expect to be demoted further back to freelance and earn nothing at all. Anyone had a similar experience?
Yes it goes on usage so you can end up back as freelance.

Not happy about this paint reward system. Give me one CR at least for having spent my time doing a paintjob. If you’re going to keep telling me that my paints are used … just to make me feel good about myself, I’d rather not. Thanks, but no thanks, stop the silly messaging. Please. Be honest with yourself is it necessary to send me this message.
I agree. I don’t like that we have to be awesome tuners/designers to get those community achievements.
Get together with a buddy and each of you create a couple drag tunes (power/drag tires) and crappy paints (don’t have to do anything) and share them. Then you each apply the others paint/drag and go to Multiplayer - Create a lobby - Set to 10 Heat drag races.
Do 101+ heats (11 sets to be safe) without getting interrupted by server changeover/reset (7pm EST) which takes ~2 hrs with loading and all. Do this 2 separate times (not within the same 24 hours) and you will have all of the Design and Tune achievements that you would otherwise NEVER get with this new system.
4 hours total work, rather than countless ours spent on nice designs and tunes that get you nothing. Great system.
Side bonus: Pick cars your friend needs affinity with and you can get a couple affinity levels and of course some XP for driver levels.
Why are you even painting or tuning if you do not enjoy it?
Achievements. I enjoy painting when I could sell them and actually get something. I don’t enjoy painting for the sake of it though (Not saying others shouldn’t / don’t, Just that I don’t)
