I pre-ordered the ultimate edition of the game in a Belgium because it was still available there and sold out in the Netherlands.
(ordering with delivery in store is no problem because I can pick it up easily)
I expected it would just be an easy wait until release and then pick it up.
on the day of release I still havent heard from the store if my game was ready for pickup and 4 days later I called to see if it ever came in. but they told me they couldn’t get the ultimate edition no more. now I am forced to get either the digital ultimate version of the game or a standard edition disc, which neither I want. I really want to have the ultimate edition on disc because I’ve had it on disc since the first horizon and I’ve had the ultimate since horizon 2.
I’ve scoured the internet for the ultimate edition to see if it still was available but with no result.
I hope we can come to a solution together.
Some extra info on the order:
I’ve ordered the game 10 days before its official release (2 October)
Their website said it was available for pre order which they confirmed when I went to the store
They said it was a problem with delivery from Microsoft (which I think is odd because to my knowledge Microsoft doesn’t deliver their games directly)
They offered me the normal copy of the game and 3 months of xbox live (which I think is not worth the €100)
As I said I live in the Netherlands but I pre-ordered the game for pickup in Belgium (this is not a problem as I’ve done this many times before)
