December Bounty Hunter Rivals and award cars

I’m really slow so I’m happy to have a challenge that I have a chance at. I’ve done at least sixty or seventy laps total, and tried different combinations of assists, etc. I’m still a half second behind Phil’s latest time, but I’m confident I can shave off a half second with another half hour of running laps.

I think a lot of you people that think you’re “not a very good player” are far better than a lot of us who dabble. I play Forza because I like driving in real life and it gives me a chance to wring out my IRL car on a track for basically free instead of spending a few hundred bucks for a track day and a few hundred more for track day insurance. But I’m not nearly as good as most of the people on this forum, because many of them spend hours and hours playing Forza. I spend maybe a couple of hours a week.

I for one am really pleased that Phil is slow. I hope they finalize his time soon so I have a specific target to shoot for.

Just aim for being atleast one second ahead of his current time by january 3rd, as in when the event closes. There might not be a “final time” to beat to keep everyone on their toes, aiming for better and better scores.

IMO I believe that Phil won’t crack the 1.30 mark. I’m gauging this by the fact that the quickest time on 100% assists are at 1.32 if I’m not mistaken.

Phil has been playing the game… We can guess by his times at other tracks.

January 3rd*

I am in the same boat… challenges should be for all people. The next one can be super hard, but it is refreshing that from time to time us casual players get something to do as well

Be careful what you wish for.

What’s Phil’s current time, btw?

I’m still safe at 1:30.ish but being away for the holidays until Jan 2nd makes me check this thread daily lol.

Must have been bored this morning, boredom + google images = started painting.

Any interest in a commemorative bounty hunter paint if I finish this up? Would need to put some more hours in to this image as knocked it together pretty quickly this morning.

Edit

Seven hours since I posted this, 300 views and no comments, looks like there’s very little interest - oh well can’t win em all lol.

Edit again - think I’m done

Well, I for one am impressed. Unfortunately Phil (it’s Phil, right? Don’t know the man) is no Brad Pitt.
Hopefully the next Bounty Hunter features Scarlett Johansson :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks Pharsalus - to be fair he’s probably not that bad looking in real life - my forza rendition of him could be lacking. Did some more messing about with the paint but jumped off to chill out with a movie.

I’ll stick an update in the post tomorrow if I get it where I’m happy with it. I’m all for Scarlett having a go - already tried to paint her a few times, over the years, with varying degrees of success ;).

I think you did a pretty good job, looks very much like in the picture. But you have chosen a terrible picture of him. Still, good work.

Ran the challenge/ track again this morning - improved to 1:27.471 - oh and shared the paint

Phil’s not improved his time for a week now - I figured he’d try and beat Dan’s time of 1:33.602 but maybe he’s reached his limit. Only a few days left now, good luck everyone.

Cheers

Excellent work on the design DamMe2006. I am finding it difficult to do anything it the design editor. Since you used a mug shot you could add his final time at the bottom.

Great time D :+1:t5:

I would’ve settled for .005 behind but after that I felt duty bound to give it another go. Improved a tad to a 1:27.586 & that’s me done. Look forward to the next one mate :beers:

Not too shabby yourself there Midnight - it’s beginning to look like Phil’s not running again. May be too early for congratulations to everyone but I’ll keep my fingers crossed. Got on better with this car track combo than the last couple. Will see what they have up their sleeves for January. . .

I am finally looking forward to getting the Porsche. I’ve been doing a lot of the Endurance GT Hopper and it’s very very quick, perhaps the best overall car actually. It just kinda suck that some got it as a milestone reward and others (sadly like myself) didn’t. However, I’m super stoked for it as my T3PA Pro Pedals are coming soon so I can’t wait to test it on them.

Mile stone cars are triggered by 2 things normaly how many cars you have being your cat tier and you Driver Level and they come arround more than once crank up your driver level to get the cars. There should be 5 now the Bayeron, Lotus eleven 1964 , Montey Carlo FE, Ford Cobra FE and now the 2017 porscha. and all are triggered by Driver level.

Finally got my time down from 1:30.0 to 1:29.9, my life is now complete
