So upon inserting the disc and downloading the 45gb, it asked me if i wanted to install the 60.6gb update to which i replied no, then when i opened it up after the disc installed, the update fell to 30.6gb. Am i missing something? I am wondering since the game is supposed to be 95.6gb total but mine is only around 60gb. Why?
67 GB is the total install size on Xbox One.

the 90gb+ is for PC and maybe upcoming xbox one x, but ya current xbox ones is 67gb

What to expect in the day 1 patch and how much space will it be?
isnt the 34/50gb content update for who have the disc version?
Yes, anyone that downloaded the game through preloading already has the day one content update installed.
I hope there is coming a big DAY 2 PATCH … because Forza7 got stuttering Videos, Micro-Stuttering in game and other little issues on PC

How about some bugfixes ?
Why don’t they just give 2 disks in the first place for physical copies? I paid for to full game now they only give me 3/4? There is a reason why I buy the physical copy… because I know my internet connection is too poor for digital download. Really disappointed

So the DAY ONE patch is already installed as of 29th September and the game has the following issues:-
-NO CLASS RIVALS - THIS IS A MASSIVE PART OF THE GAME MISSING WITH NO CLARITY AS TO WHETHER ITS COMING OR WE LOST IT? THIS IS A DEAL BREAKER FOR ME.
-AWFUL AI WITH NO INTELLIGENCE ON A PRESET COURSE. THIS IS FORZA AI AT ITS WORST EVER.
-JUST LIKE FORZA 5 AND 6 2 AI OPPONENTS ARE EQUIPPED WITH EITHER NITROS OR ROCKET FUEL MAKING IT EXTREMELY HARD TO CATCH THEM FOR MID TO HARD DIFFICULTIES.
-NO CONTINUOS VIP BENEFITS OTHER THAN 3 MEASLEY CRATES. TURN 10, YOUR KIDDING RIGHT?
-NO FUNCTIONING PRIVATE LOBBIES? ANOTHER MASSIVE DEAL BREAKER!
-RANDOM MULTIPLAYER LOBBY SUCCESS MOSTLY ENDING I A FAILURE TO JOIN OR BEING KICKED SEVERAL LAPS IN TO A RACE!
-PLENTY OF GRAPHICS ISSUES ON XBOX ONE AND PC! NO DEAL BREAKERS HERE FOR ME BUT WAS EXPECTING BETTER.
-RUBBISH REWARDS SYSTEM, WHY ARE PLAYERS NOT RECEIVING CRATES AT THE END OF CHAMPIONSHIPS ETC? WE HAVE 700 CARS TO ACQUIRE AND THE REWARDS SYSTEM IS THE WORST I HAVE SEEN IN FORZA, ESPECIALLY THE FACT THERE ARE NO CREDIT BASED REWARDS FOR NO ASSISTS AND POOR REWARDS FOR HARDER AI.

Been waiting for the day one update, is it gonna drop at 9pm Pacific to coincide with release?
EDIT: Just found out that was the update. Am a little disappointed now.
Why are you disappointed? Why would a game studio release patches/fixes even before all editions of the game have been released?
Relax though, we should be getting news of a patch and/or future patches soon enough. Turn 10 and MS know better, I’m sure.

Because the game is buggy and unplayable? Plenty of games have multiple patches in the first few days. Unfortunately the way Microsoft handles updates we now will have to wait a month for any chance of getting some bugs fixed and making this game playable.

Is the day one patch going to be released at the usual update time of 6pm (UK time) or do we think it will earlier with it being the full release of the game?
