I recommend getting an external SSD if you only have a 500 GB console. I have done the same for my 1 TB console and all my most used games are on the SSD. For racing games they load maps significantly faster than from the internal HDD.
Ah thats true, Id better clean up some space for future carpacks.
I just hope the base game dont need place to extract.
considering ive got about 350 meg of system updates alone, although im in the preview program, i’d consider buying an external if you ever wanna play anything else, ever

They were obviously referring to the 1X and that explains the 50GB download if you install from disc onto a 1X. It’ll be the same for 1 users moving to 1X assuming you can transfer games from internal to internal HDD.
Anyway, well done to whoever had this confirmed.
Well no, because they specifically said that the 4k stuff would only be released on the 7th, and the 95 gig was separate
It’s good to finally hear something from them … even if it’s a direct contradiction to what they just released publicly less than 2 weeks ago. Moving forward, I’m done trying to take them at their word on what they’re doing with their own games.

TO be fair even the Xbox Showed it changing between the two values… But like yourself glad it’s now official and just have another 20GB to download again for the last time hopefully!!!

i have no clue, they said it would be 45 gig on the disc, and a 50 gig install for the rest of the content, but the digital downloads are only 67 gig, so, your guess is as good as anyone elses mate
My pre load was 67GB just under 2 hours. It now says 95GB but I am ignoring the size because It will work or not work tomorrow night. Good luck everyone. I hope it works for you the first try.
So the person that argued with me saying the PC version didn’t include 4K textures making it larger was clearly wrong. It was pretty obvious it did include them, especially as that’s how Turn 10 advertised the game for PC.
