Crashed the game after falling through map, now I can't get back in.

So I was driving around a corner when I suddenly seemed to fall through the ground and all I could see was a white sky and grey ground rotating around me with the horizon tilting back and forth. When I paused, the screen would go black, including the map and drone if I selected them. I tried to reset myself by delivering a car to me, but the game crashed. Now when I try to get back in, the game crashes after pressing enter to start. I’m on a PC using the mircosoft version. Would appreciate any advice or help people have to offer.

Same here. I installed the game a few days ago and played for maybe 15 minutes. Then my screen went grey and everything and eventually crashed. I haven’t been able to get past the splash screen since.

Ive tried reinstalling, resetting, redownloading, rolling back graphic drivers, and every other possible thing I could find and I still can’t play the game.

I bought the game back when it first launched and never had an issue running it on the same PC.

I am currently on Windows Version 1903 Build 18362.175

Same here. I was driving then game frezzed a bit then all the map textures was like a gray splash, but i saw the HUD. I could go to the wheelspin, map, garage, i saw the speedometer. Then i decided to restart the game, after that, in the main menu, i pressed ENTER, then is going long dowloading, after, when i see the text “Welcome, my nick” the game freezzes ans just crashes. Windows 1903.
I have already sent a ticket, but answer haven’t come to me yet.

Same here. I’ve tried all the usual stuff they tell you to try when game doesnt load - check if other programs running dont crash it, use WSReset, reinstall, try running without Lego DLC, reseting the game…nothing works, I even tried reinstalling on completely fresh Windows install…still doesn’t work. Win 1903
I also sent ticket, didn’t get an answer so far.

Same happened to me yesterday has anyone found a solution so far? Just bought my first Forza game like a week ago and can’t play it anymore because of that.

That what I got as an answer few days ago
Hello,

Can you please try the following things and try to sync your save after each one.
Please restart your PC then load your game to sync data.
Please try to manually update the game and any DLC using the Microsoft Store.
UWP Reset Application
Windows>Settings>Applications>title>Advanced Options>Reset
Follow the steps in this article.

Uninstall then reinstall the game and any DLC.

If you get the Invalid Profile error message after the above steps you may need the delete your save as it has become corrupted. To fix this issue please follow these steps based on your device. If you have to reset your save please let us know so we can provide compensation.

PC

  1. Make sure your PC Offline Permissions is set to ON
    Open the Microsoft store.
    Click on your profile Image and then click settings.
    Make sure your Offline Permissions is set to ON
  2. Start the game, wait for the start screen.
  3. Disconnect your PC from the internet.
  4. Go to your Windows 10 Settings → Storage → Apps & games -->Forza Horizon 4 -->Advanced Options -->Select the “Reset” button.
  5. Start playing for a few minutes to create a new local save
  6. Connect back to the internet.

Same problem, i don’t know if is a ram issue, or because the version of windows 10 (1903). Hope they will fix this soon.

I was doing some off-color alternate mountain route during a Forzathon event when the game crashed also. I think there is a legitimate crashing issue with the Lego expansion that needs to be addressed. Also, I wasn’t aware we can drive the Lego cars on the mainland?!
