Xbox series X, Only after 7.1
Have cleared cache, reinstalled Game.
If I exit out of an event, be it a MP lobby or career. The game will crash to dashboard or hang on the black screen. The little white spinning wheel freezes up then it will hang or crash.
This is repeatable in every instance. Please Fix
im getting exactly the same thing, also the game crashes back to the dashboard when i have painted a car, i have had so much trouble with this game since launch, it’s extremely unprofessional
It’s happening on pc too, got some crashes after some rivals sessions, mid race too. All after 7.1 update.

Yup. Xbox user. Either from career or free play when you either continue or leave event.
No issue yet for me on Xbox SĂ©ries X. Could be a account/cloud sync related issue.
Same thing on pc 5700X 6900XT.
I’ve had multiple crashes post-race this week on my XSX after the hotfix, and rarely had that happen anytime before. I also had a Free Race go into an infinite loading loop on the track model/schematic screen, which is a new one to me (I had to exit to the Xbox home and quit the game).
I have the same issue. After any paint, race etc it will ALWAYS go to my homescreen after freezing.

Question for those that are crashing, Do you have a large number of cars with liveries?
I suspect the issue is tied to the “stability fix” for thumbnails somehow.

Same here. After every race online or offline it hangs and eventually crashes after the latest hot fix.
Same here and couple of other players. Quit the Rivals mode instantly crash into xbox dashboard. Or quit online Multiplayer. It doesnt matter. Searching for designs too. All after the last update.
I just did 2 free races of 10 laps each, after which the game froze and crashed.
Afterwards I saw in HWinfo64 that “Virtual Memory” was fully utilized with 99.9%.
Could there be a memory leak?

Unfortunately, I couldn’t change the language on the fly, otherwise the data would have been reset.
i have quite a lot of cars and liveries i have downloaded, i have put in 49 days and 16 hours into the game so far and i have had nothing but trouble, randomly quits when it feels like it, stuttering to the point the cars are jumping miles in front, and after tuning or changing tires it just hangs for ever, then there are the times i have started a race and the computer cars don’t have a body on the car, its just 4 wheels and the driver.
i have uninstalled it and even wiped everything off my xbox but nothing works

I get 2 laps into a 4 lap singleplayer race and game crashes. I crash as I cross the start/finish line everytime
I’m having the same exact problem. Most of the time when I exit a session the game shuts down and I go back the Xbox dashboard.
Same thing XSX, I am not using hyperbole, it’s literally every single race, rival, time trial, etc. It boots me back to the Xbox Home Screen at the end of every event.
Seriously Turn 10, I really am trying to play your game and you’re making it very difficult.
Have not had crash since game was released, now constantly crashing on exit or quit to menu since the 7.1 hot fix. Playing on series x. Happens in career or free practice. Every session so far.
So Update 7.1 which was supposed to fix crashing has caused the game to crash several times a day between multiplayer races and some times even loading into races during intermission. Prior to update 7.1 I was experiencing no crashes now I can’t even go one night without crashing. Very disappointing
