I was just wondering : Do any of you have any information about announced convertible cars being actually convertibles ?
I don’t know for FM5 and 6 since i’m on PC, but I remember FH3 convertible cars could be converted in the Autoshow but no changes were made for driving.
Does the Motorsport serie allows these changes please ?
FM6 did not have this function exept for Forzavista, like FH3. But since Forzavista can be used everywhere on the track now in FM7 it might be possible.
“In addition, Turn 10 has also revealed that it’s making the Forzavista experience even better in Forza Motorsport 7 by allowing players to explore their favourite cars not only in the pre-made home spaces, which are typically stunning and absolutely gorgeous, but also track-side before the race begins. Now you can explore your car using Forzavista across the more than 30 track environments in Forza Motorsport 7.”

That sounds like it’s only available while the race is waiting to start? Likely only be in the pit lane. Can’t imagine it’ll stay as is for the actual race though.
If I remember correctly back at the launch of fh3 someone said asked the same thing- one of the devs replied saying they couldn’t be converted. Then someone else said how bout you could change the roof as an ‘upgrade’ - the dev replied saying that they could di that but it was too late for this game …
I sort of care… I mean I don’t like convertibles anyway really, but when I do drive them I feel like a complete idiot driving around in the pouring rain with the top down. Kind of immersion breaking.
So do you intend to slow to 30-40 mph to put the top up or down? Do you intend on only driving 55 with a soft top? Theres a lot of reasons leaving it fixed makes more sense. If the car is a convertible the car is usually operated in a race setting with the top down.
