FH5 XSS after winter wonderland update.
Game just sits on a blank menu with spinning loading icon when trying to open saved photos and tunes menu. When saving applying parts, it did the same before eventually applying, but only for it to say I have too many saves. I don’t and haven’t doubled my saved tunes since we had the file space increase recently. Then it hangs when applying a tune.
Basically, every menu it hangs whenever it wants you to apply something.
Then it works ok for 10 mins after restarting the game. Take a photo, game hangs before being able to save it and then crashes without being able to save it.
Opening a car mastery screen, click the icon and then nothing loads.
Then I’ve seen the Winter cut screen and this weeks playlist events added to the map 3 times.
Come back to the game after dinner. When to HW map to do the seasonal, now the car doesn’t move, rev and does nothing at all. Even pause doesn’t work.
In the past couple weeks, when you press to enter a race, instead of getting the car select menu, you just get the background of the car and no menu. Always have to close the game and reopen.

Bug Info: When entering freeroam after starting the game via Quick resume, the car can’t be driven. No control input whatsoever besides LB and the Xbox home button. I can navigate the pause menu and go back into my garage, but I have to restart the game to make it work again.

Just happened again when I started the game via quick resume. The Winter Wonderland Series kept reloading as well.

Same issue here controller works fine in menu but not in game only the home button works and maybe screenshot but no way to drive the car

Yooo this is one annoying bug. This is happening to me as well and forcing me to restart the game every time. I did a clean reset as well and still getting this issue

Misery loves company: I am having the same issues with a control-less controller, re-runs of the season intro when I restart FH5 (even occasionally when I go into my HQ, work on my car then leave) and lost game progress.
Is there any indication that the Playground people are on top of this?

Also not working for me. Similar issues to what others have described re reloading winter wonderland every time I open the game. Today it was different and reloaded into summer season, said could not connect to server. Still cannot control car in freemode.
Does anyone know if there’s a way to play at all? Some way to circumvent freemode maybe? Does the car work at all if you can get into a race?

I load the game without quick resume now (always quitting when I stop playing). Then it does start fine (except for the series reload).

XBS. I can’t even play. I can navigate the menu and maps. As soon as I get in the car, nothing works. Only on FH5

I can play for a little while as long as the Rally events aren’t downloaded. As soon as I download, I’m done. Nothing works on the controller.
We are closing out this issue. The developers have noted this issue as Fixed as of the hotfix on 12.14.23
