Playing on wheel and controller is needed for some interactions in menu. If the controller starts to rumble/vibrate there is no way to stop it then (fully ignoring that i’ve switched to the wheel)
I’ve asked about this before and the only reason I was given was that I might have the settings too low such as wheel rotation degrees. Anything below 270 degrees seems to let it happen. It’s way worse with anything at 200 degrees or less.
Na it’s a bug here. My rotation is on 900 and vibration is set to off so the controller should not vibrate at all. (First entry in wheel settings, normally turns vibration of the controller fully off while using wheel)
Hmm… odd.
I know that when I set at 360 or above I don’t get the vibration problem (Vibration currently down at 1) but it came back after dropping to 200 odd for drift events to get the wheel to turn the car quicker for drifts - basically to get closer to a controller instant switch from pushing a button over actually having to rotate the wheel.
The same thing happens to me. I just move the right joystick around while holding the steering wheel and it quits.
That’s what I had to do to get my controller to stop vibrating when I am using my steering wheel and pedals setup…
Ok, this works but still a bug. Not sure why they add option to turn vibration off if they ignore it later…
Steps to reproduce without need for Wheel: (XSX)
- Attach 2 Controllers (both setup for same account/user)
- Drive the car with Controller B to get some rumble on this controller and press pause while controller is vibrating
- Leave pausemenu with Controller A
- Controller B is now vibrating at same amount and so on until right stick/pause is used
- Switching to Controller B and leaving pause via B button → Controller A is now vibrating at same amount
You can toggle “forever” then the not used controller keeps vibrating at the last value
Another Bug:
- Press Brake slightly on Controller A (enough to turn the brakelight on)
- Press Buttons on Controller B (Buttons A and B turn brakelights off, RT and R Stick not working, and so on)
It should fully ignore the input on the other controller if the other is/becomes active. Not just some buttons
