Controller disconnecting and reconnecting constantly!

So, after the last update the controller keeps disconnecting and reconnecting all the time.
In the HUD I can see the controls constantly changing betweem the xbox controller and the mouse and keyboard.
The controller isn’t disconnecting from the PC it is only happening in the game.

To make it even more wierd, if I use my keyboard, it stops reading the input.
So if I keep the W button pressed, it works and after some time it just stops driving forward while the button is still pressed.

I am not sure what is going on but I can’t play anymore because the input from both stops working all the time.
When I am taking a corner while I am using the joystick from the controller, if I am steering longer then one sec in one direction it stops steering and I need to steer again.

Does anybody have a sollution for this?
Is anyone having the same problem?

Have you got your controller wired to the PC or is this via a USB input so therefore wireless connection?

My controller is connected to the PC through the Xbox Wireless Adapter. This one is new and worked correctly before.

Hello,
I am having the same issue with a non official wireless Xbox 360 type controller from easySMX.
When I start the pc and the game it usually works for about half an hour but then I get the same problems than Charged Rage described above.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the controllers driver, did not help.
Checked for driver updates and windows updates.

Thanks in advance for any help possible.

Hello again,

I have tried to follow some instructions I found in the following video.

Unfortunately, this did not work for me but I found a solution.

This might not help a lot of people but I had a Joystick constantly plugged to the pc. Since I unplugged it, I no longer have any problems.

Hope it saves some other drivers out there!
