Contest for 2018 McLeren Senna Giveaway!

So my Forza Friends
It is time for another of my game launch time contests, if you have been around for a while, I have been doing these since Forza Motorsports 4, with either gift cars and credits (back in the day) or exclusive DLC, or DLC codes in general. Now this one is all about Forza Horizon 4

Theme: “Here is what I enjoy about FH4”

Reward: 2018 McLaren Senna (x2 Rewards To Gift)

The McLaren Senna, which is the most mental McLaren the company has ever built. Powered by a pumped up version of the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 that comes in the 720S, the Senna boasts 588kW, accompanied by 800Nm of torque – all in a package which weighs less than a modern-day Mini Cooper.

The McLaren Senna is in the game, but here is your chance to save $ 1,000,000 credits, so you can save up for that castle, and get it for free!

I really like ‘Forzathon Live’, it was unexpected feature this game, and I find that every time I see the notice, I stop what ever I am doing and head for the meeting point! In addition to the points for the Forzathon shop, I really like that there is a ‘team effort’ to reach the goal and reward, everyone can participate to their skills, what ever they are. I am really good, REALLY good at danger signs, but I totally suck at Drifting, even more then Hieronymus1967! I still try and contribute what I can, for each even, and its great that everyone is doing the same, I think its pretty darn awesome, I am trying to figure out the right formula of coffee and green tea to do a 24 hour, every hour on the hour ‘Forzathon Live’ day! Think I am still a way off from attempting, can so far only many 13 in a day! I’ll get there though!

Having houses is really cool, some place to chill while you do all your wheel spins and not having to go all the way back to the festival to change a car or tune. He is mine, at the nice ‘golden time’ before sunset.

What I really like about Forza Horizon 4 is that it encourages me to actually get out of my comfort zone. When I played the previously Forza Horizon games (and all Forza games in general), I never felt comfortable going online, making tunings, or trying to make designs because I felt that I would be inferior to other online players and so I stuck strictly to the single players. I never bothered to learn the tuning features because I didn’t see that much incentive for me to actually try it. However, now with My Horizon Life, there is an actual system that I can physically see that rewards me for all features. I feel compelled to try all of the features I never utilized prior. I have now started trying out the tuning and have made a couple of my own tunes for cars, I tried online races with other players, I started using the rivals system. I am even building my courage to even start using the mixer streaming! There is a visible purpose to try getting out of my comfort zone, and definitely makes the overall experience longer lasting compared to previous Forza Horizon games.

There are so many thing I do like about the game. I’m not going to pick my favourite (too hard) but instead tell you about a small, minor thing that has made a massive difference to my playstyle.

I’ve always been an AWD guy, both in real life and in video games. I love the feeling of control, I love the feeling of a smooth transfer of power from the engine to the road, and I love it when I get my differential just right to make an AWD car handle perfectly around the corners with no understeer.

I’ve never looked down on RWD though. I’ve always respected those that drive and enjoy RWD. I’ve tried and failed many times to get into it. But then two things happened. The first happened back in FH3. I won a LaFerrari in a wheelspin. As is my custom with any new car, I drove it stock once just to get a feel for it and anything that might need improving… and I loved it, just as it was. Went on to race it stock and never looked back. Suddenly RWD was in my playable pool.

The second thing was I downloaded the FH4 demo. The first time I played through, I chose the Audi TTs. Seemed like a clear winner for a beginner car considering my playstyle and comfort zone. I played through most of the demo but had to turn it off. Next time, I chose the charger for fun (might as well am I right?) and to my utter shock I actually liked it. RWD seemed so much more managable. A major part of it was my experience with the LaFerrari in 3, but there is no doubt that the updated physics engine had a hand in that experience.

Now that I’ve got the main game, I drive both, and like each one in it’s own way. I’m still primarily an AWD guy, no doubt, and I don’t think that’s ever going to change, but there are more RWD cars in my garage then ever, and I’ve already driven more RWD in 4 then I ever did in 3. And for my first HyperCar purchase I actively bought as opposed to won was… a LaFerrari. This time I put a little work into it, but it still very near to stock, and it is currently my favourite HyperCar in my garage.

FH4 broke me out of my AWD shell.

Awsome stories of FH4 ProofCartoon and WeighterMeat … keep them coming Forza Fans

ProofCartoon, as a former owner of an Outback Turbo, and current owner of a RAM Rebel Hemi 4x4, and two Dodge Challengers (both RWD), I totally get your passion and understand.
In all the FM and FH games, I am a usual Muscle Car or RWD Super Car driver, but, when the Subaru Brat came out in FH2, I started using that sucker almost non-stop! I definitely like both RWD and AWD for different reasons and for differant tasks.

I love seeing team work in forzathon live and the beauty’s that the players bring to arena i even felt nostalgic with the story reference to other car games from my child hood. The upcoming halloween event has me excited to see what we get

Also like that of your car gets all muddy and dirty you just need to drive in the water to wash it off.

I’m not after a code, I happily paid the $1m for the Senna and it is probably the best handling fast car in the game. And my story wouldn’t qualify anyway, I’m no novelist.

What I love best about this game is: Racing, drifting, dragging, cruising around the UK in autumn, at 4K, 60fps, extreme graphic settings and HDR. It is quite literally breathtakingly stunning.

What I enjoy about FH4:

Collecting cars and being able to pretty much travel anywhere in the game world.

the reason i love Horizon 4 is for the sheer amount of depth we got towards off-road racing i seeked it back in 3 but it wasn’t really the off-road feeling i was searching for now that we have 4 with all of the rally and cross country events im more than stoked to take cars that shouldn’t be off-road to the dirt haha hello rally lambo lol

What I love about Forza is the diversity of the vehicles you can drive. These range from the seriously pedestrian Peel P50, though 40 mph isn’t too bad through to the Aventador Forza Edition I received which manages to muster 1647HP. A special mention should be made of the Reliant Supervan which has the wonderful ability to tip over with very little provocation when driven enthusiastically. Then there are the more utilitarian vehicles like the Land Rover or Merc Unimog, through to the more extreme Merc Racing Truck and Volvo Iron Knight. Finally of course there are the classic cars ranging from the 30’s and beyond. For a car enthusiast it is a real treat to experience this variety. .

Chojinzo - Thanks, even though you do not need a code and already have the car, your story is much welcomed and thank you for contributing to the thread.

What I love most about this game is the variety and randomness of it. Most racing games seem to have a theme and stick to it which can get stale after a while. Forza Horizon seems to recognize that and has made it possible to play this game exactly how you choose and not be limited in your options. I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us!

Yes that porsche is my design. Hello there. i want this senna. For racing. in forza horizon 2 my average online finishing pos was 3rd and in forza horizon 3, my average online finish position was 2nd. On this game my average online finish position is well i dont know. But i am a s2 racer. However , i dont feel like this game is finished. And ive had a passion for racing games. And when i was expecting gorgeous sounds from the famous rb26, amd sr20. I was greeted with copy and pasted sounds. Not good enough. I honestly Dont love this game. And although i win in my porsche cayman gt4 Alot and spent hours driving it. It doesnt feel nice. It feels awful, another poor job by playground games is the online adventure system. And the ai. Yes i race unbeatable. Yes i find it very very easy. And so does my friend with 1 year experience. Online adventure? The only adventure i get is getting rammed into a sea by a ford raptor.

On the other hand. I love the new customisation and seasons. I really like the idea, the menu screens and soundtracks are fantastic. And the game is incredibly immersive. I love the new design features. Personally. Im more of a painter then a driver, and many designs are mine and i almost cry whenever i see people use my work. It just feels fantastic. It also boosts my auction prices when i sell the car! Superchargers sound realistic, and v8s sound very very realistic, but then the game is let down by i6s which sound like 2014 f1 cars. Exibition races have no style HOWEVER IM VERY HAPPY A RACE CREATOR IS COMING IN THE FUTURE. WHAT A LIFE SAVER FOR THIS GAME, anyway, Another good thing is the ghosting system when cars are at a standsti… oh wait, there goes my race to a backmarker in a ford raptor from being parked on the apex and veering right to smash me off the track when im leading by a country mile. Oh yay look! Its road racing s1 class! Cant wait to use my cayman and win!. Oh wait 3 street races, 2 6 mile freeroam rushes, and winter weather. Oh well looks like im using my escort cossie. Oh wait, my team are running bottom pp cars in the class ( most below 850 s1 ). Okay its not all bad, as long as i win, im all good. Oh wait, their team are in huge pickup trucks which weigh almost three times more than me. Okay just get a good start! Oh wait the guy infront of me is afk in his huge truck and i smash straight into the back of him. (This actually happened)

The fact is, this forza is fun, but gets boring quickly. And although aesthetically pleasing, the sounds from cars which dont have a v8, are more relevant to layers of fear and devils babies, the reason i want this car is because i dont have a good s2 race car, and i dont have alot of money. Having this senna would be fantastic because i can do a design on it and if it goes well i could just be a 5 star painter!

What I like about Forza Horizon 4 is that it’s so teamplay-oriented. Forzathon forces players to co-operate in order for them to complete the given challenges and I really like that.

I am also a big fan of the auction house, because if you’re short of money you can either sell the cars that you’re not really using and if you want to purchase a new car you can use the auction house and most definitely be able to buy it for a much cheaper price. For an instance I was looking to get the Aston Martin Vulcan FE, and I managed to purchase it on auction for a fraction of the retail price of the original Vulcan which made me very happy.

The ability to download tuning upgrades that are made by the community is fantastic. It gives people like me who does not have that much experience of tuning cars the possibility to get my cars tuned in regards to what I’m going to use them for. If I want to adjust my 240sx for drifting I can easily download and install top-notch tuning upgrades for that, and the same goes for when I’m looking after tuning upgrades to prepare my Pagani Zonda R FE for some Goliath racing.

McLaren Senna is one of the many cars that I’m looking to buy very soon. It truly is a beautiful car and from what I understand it’s one of the best in the game. If I would win it that would be amazing!

The endless variety, a lot of which you can control by using Blueprint.

Example: A rally race on a specific course. You can race:

  1. Classic Rally
  2. Retro Rally
  3. Modern Rally
  4. Rally Monsters.

You can tune the cars to different classes, giving you even more variety.

If you want to switch from rally cars you can use Off-road, SUV’s, Buggies or even Supercars. Whatever you want.

You can select:
Season
Weather
Time of day. (If it’s a longer race you can start during the day and race into the night.)

You can also do this for street races, road races, etc. etc.

Thanks swespot, picture and a story, thanks for everyone posting, keep them coming, really fun to see what aspects people are enjoying~

Reminder get your entries in, contest closing 12 Midnight Tonight, PST
I have a few more codes, so will be giving out at least 4 Senna’s

Thank you for doing this, gives me ideas about another contest.

As someone who has been playing since the start of Forza, pre 2007, I simply enjoy a great driving game that drowns you in depth of story and graphics to sell an Eskimo ice with.

Forza Horizon is a great game that brings folks together to race, even if you are not the best or fastest, it it still a place to meet up and exchange ideas, stories, cars, designs, tunes.

Thanks again for doing this, and please give it to someone else, not like mine is on same planet as others.

What I most like about FH4 is the ability to explore everything on the map and the beautiful landscapes.

I really like FH4 because of many things, like the ability to purchase certain FE cars or the ability to change seasons but the best thing I’d say that makes me enjoy FH4 more than anything. It’s the Vauxhall Monaro VXR. I know it’s only one car but this car brings back so much of my childhood, the ability to upgrade/tune it as well just seals the deal for the me. Just seeing this car makes me all nostalgic and everything.
