Per the Twitter announcement, this update is expected “this week” so there’s no specific time of day, or day itself, even though the article is dated today.
Just wanna Thank the Horizon Team, for making me Switch My Graphics option, from what i normally play (Performance Mode), to Quality Mode & Restart my game…, just to complete a forza weekly challenge objective…, then Switching back to Performance Mode & Restarting game Again to continue
…Just some Additional Info:
I’ve NEVER played a game on this Generation of Gaming, that i had to Reboot Game & Console as much as i have to with this one
It will most likely come out as soon as Lego officially unveils the new porsche 911 speed champion set.
During the barnfind video, you see a piece that up to today only exists in the Mclaren Senna set, but will also be used in the not yet announced Porsche set from which the instructions were leaked.
Seems all of the Forza Edition cars have received significant PI reductions in this update. Cars you already own are unchanged but looking through the car collection tab under “cars” in the pause menu reveals the changes. For example, the Nissan GTR LM FE is now S1 886 whereas it was S2 995 up until this update
The S2 995 version was the Playground Games build. If you went into your garage and reset default upgrades, it reverted to S1 886. So PIs haven’t been changed, you’re just seeing the stock/default version of the car in the car collection tab.
This update made my game crash on loading screen every time it starts. I was playing ranked without problems, closed the game, windows store installed the update, went back to the game, all fine, then i closed the game again to do some stuff and when i wanted to play again, it gets stuck on loading screen then back to desktop… I never had this problem before so i assume its the update.
I “reset” the app without success, now im reinstalling to see what happens =/
