I found these computer requirements somewhere on internet (im not 100% if they are real)
Minimal:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4460/AMD FX-8350 (But i think Phenom II X4/X6 should be also fine)
GPU: GTX 760/R7 260X (2GB VRAM)
RAM: 8GB
Space on HDD: 55GB
Recomended:
CPU: Intel Core i7-4790/AMD FX-8370
GPU: GTX 980 Ti 6 GB/R9 Fury X 4 GB
RAM: 16 GB
Space on HDD: 55GB
I would assume 16gb of RAM, any recent I7 and a 980 will do the job for 1080p/60fps using settings relatively close to the Xbox One.
For 4K this is going to be very difficult, I don’t see a single 980ti cutting it for 60fps.
What makes you say that ? A 970 struggling should not surprise anyone, after all it has its limitations like any other piece of silicon.
There are many well optimized games where a 970 can’t deliver a stable 60fps using the highest settings.
That’s an unanswerable question without specs, have you tried running Apex and getting the requirements error? or does your PC actually not meet requirements for Apex because there is a bypass you can use to get past the error. As far as FH3 it will likely and hopefully be optimized on release but likely similar requirements.
That’s interesting. What’s your other specs? I got 970 too and i can run it maxed out with 8xMSAA at solid 60 fps. It’s 900p though, hence my monitor.
And it’s obviously gonna be much more CPU demanding game, since it’s open world oposite to small Apex tracks.
No system requirements yet. I just hope the game actually uses all your rig! Forza 6 apex dosen’t even let you use more than two cores as far as I know (or multiple Graphics cards) My PC should be running apex fine, but instead I get constant stutters.
Hopefully they further improve FM6 Apex and FH3 optimization. It is smooth 99% of the time, but once every couple races the game will just freeze for like 3 seconds before resuming. I used to get constant stuttering on every non-daylight track but that seems to be gone now. It also freezes on loading a race once in a while as well.
i5 3570k (no OC)
GTX 970
16GB RAM
VRAM ≠ RAM. Also, PCPartpicker is the best place to find computer parts/components in the US.
