In short, is it possible to get 40 points EVERY week on the weekly playlist without using Gamepass/Online play ?
My monthly Ultimate Gamepass expired at the weekend once I had managed to complete the Trial & 47 points elsewhere.Since not renewing Gamepass I have been able to complete everything else apart from the Open ‘Slingshot’ challenge (which for 2 pts I’m not bothered with).
I have the Xbox Series X with Forza Horizon 5 ‘built-in’ as part of the original purchase.
Only if you have the expansions.

I think it’s always been technically possible, although some weeks it’s been incredibly annoying to do so as you had to do every single non-online event possible (including daily forzathon challenges) to barely scrape together 40 points. It’s pretty obvious to me that the devs do this intentionally to try to push players into online play or buying expansions to have easier ways of completing the playlist.
Good responses here & on reflection a seasoned FH5 player can complete each weeks 40 pts without the use of Gamepass without completing the Trial, the Eliminator, the Playground Game and any other event that involves online interaction.
The only downside to offline play is that all the Hot Wheels & Rally events will involve playing all 3 races instead of winning the ‘best-of-3’ in online play.
