Is it normal for the game to take a solid 3 or 4 minutes to load in? It feels like an eternity. It’s done it since I got the game.
yea, H2 took just as long to load. I would not expect this to improve, it never did for H2.
Time it and come back. I’m sure it’s not even close to 4 mins.
My game is running from an external hard drive and its a lot faster like that.
It’s been slow since day one. But after this last update, it’s taking quite a big longer.
If you’re running on an Xbox One, yeah, that’s about how long it takes.
The Xbox One’s internal drive is merely adequate, but nowhere near exceptional. It uses a 5400 RPM hard disk, with an average sequential read of 60 MB/s. Note that is sequential read. The speed dips quite a bit more when the read is not sequential, which is what is almost always true when loading a game from disk to RAM. Add to that that content updates and patches further fragment the data on the disk, you can see how quickly performance degrades over time.
I have a 7200 RPM 4TB external hard disk drive and it does load quite a bit faster than the internal drive. I would suggest getting an external drive for both storage and speed.
Nope, timed my standard Xbox One and it took 1m38s of actual loading. 2m07s including the logo screens. Quite far from the 3 to 4 minutes mentionned

On a SSD it takes 21 seconds to load the game from main menu to garage.
