I thought my default install location was my SSD, but it was set to my external drive and I didn’t notice it until today :(.
After moving it to my SSD load times are like night and day. Never seen such a dramatic decrease in load times using my SSD previously.
It take a little over a minute to load the game, before I guess maybe 2-3 minutes and fast traveling take 4-5 seconds!.
So make sure you install it to your SSD if you got one, and if not make sure to get one :).
I’ve installed to an SSD so I can now load the game and crash instantly even quicker than before! It’s a miracle.
I don’t know why it took 2-3 minutes on a hard drive, but the load times of the game on my HDD are under a minute always.
A minute for loading on an SSD is definitely too slow. Takes exactly 12 seconds from clicking continue to being in the game for me.
I’m talking a minute from the Xbox dashboard when the game isn’t running in the background to when you can drive :).
