After 14 months driving in cockpit view is still a nightmare.
When your driver turns the wheel, they throw their arms up in the air and block the view. In cars with small cockpits this makes the car impossible to drive.
No human being drives a vehicle like this, especially not a racing driver.
I have played a plethora of racing games and this is the only one that does this.
I don’t know what controls you use wheel or controller, but if you use wheel, why not just use the zoomed in view that shows no wheel with no arms? I mean your own wheel is what matters then anyway.
I play with controller and play with chasecam 99% of the time. But the few times I used cockpit view it wasn’t that bad. But I guess it’s different with each car.
I love cockpit view, but race bonnet because of this.
Anyone should be playing the wash they want that’s why there are many cameras. I use controller and i also use chase and cockpit camera i like to see the steering wheel but not the arms blocking the view… I agree 
with this post. This is a problem that needs to be solved

I wonder why I haven’t noticed this reported more.
I would think there are lots of players driving with cockpit camera who’d run into this.

Of course they should fix it. I never said they shouldn’t.
What is this “Tank” from Left 4 Dead 1 and 2? Wow I hated that thing on modded servers where it had thousands of HP.
I play with the controller in cockpit view, in some cars this is really annoying, the arms should be better positioned. in acc or project cars 3 it doesn’t get in the way like this
