When I click install nothing happens other than selecting a drive, which has 200+ GB available. Then it disappears and nothing happens, I can do it several times in a row its like something is blocking it. Ive also tried to install on the Xbox one and the PC. Both have similar problems. Click install and nothing happens;

After deleting my files after over a day of failed download attempts, and trying to reinstall, I’m now having that problem. I’m hoping something is in the process of being fixed
I am having this exact problem right now as well. Have the ultimate edition but cant begin the download.
Having the same issue, just downloaded the entire game using the download manager method and I can’t get it to install anything using the store.
I’m having the same issue. I made sure that Windows was updated to the latest edition and that the download is going to my primary drive. Windows store tech support just hung up on me because I declined to use the paid tech service. lol
I also have that problem, I have tried rebooting my PC and the demo installed perfectly fine on my D: Drive which is a 4TB WD HDD

I just reset the store, and now its starting to download
After countless failed attempts at downloading the 95.30 gig Update, which followed my 99.99 gig Ultimate Edition pre-load, I finally decided that uninstalling the game, and redownloading it would help…
Nope… I’m now having the same problem you are.
My Computer has been on all week trying to download the 95.30 gig Update only to continuing producing this dumb error, and completely restart the update from scratch on it’s own.
Read that the download would work once the the Ultimate Edition is unlocked to play, came home from work, and it had at some point restarted, maybe a few times, because I was only at 11 gigs.
Now, it’s the end of the 29th, and I can’t even download the game I spent $100 on, that could have gone into my REAL CAR!
If this can’t be fixed before the regular release date, I want to know now so I can start figuring out how to get my refund. Once A refund is in place, I will never play another Forza game.
At this point, I am not getting what I paid for… Infact, I didn’t get anything I was promised, except a loss of 100 bucks!
Same issue here. I’ve tried disabling Firewall, wsreset (both regular and as admin), signing in and out of the store. Nothing still.
I am also having this issue on PC. I’ve verified Windows is fully up to date, run wsreset as both regular user and as administrator, signed out/in to Store, and rebooted the PC a couple of times. Nothing works.
On Xbox, I’m have game installed from disk. Update is finished, but I cant install VIP and Fate of Furious pack. "Something went wrong Give it another try. If this happens again, let us know by entering 0x8000ffff
I had the same problem but just got it to start downloading. On win 10 I went to add or remove programs → Store → advanced options → reset
I am having the same install circle as the rest of you…both my xbox one consoles and my win10 pc won’t load this.

Mine is doing the same thing. I get to choose the drive to install but it never starts the download. Oh well for pre ordering. I wish someone with the game would read these and say something.
I had the same issue on PC and Xbox. Click Install and nothing happens.
Xbox fix: Hard reset on Xbox fixed it for me - when it’s on, hold the xbox button on the console for ~10 seconds then turn it on again.
PC fix: Reset the Windows Store
Start > Settings (cog icon) > Apps > scroll down and click on “Store” > Advanced > Reset
Before this I also ran windows updates which may or may not have helped.
