Can we have a bit of information about this issue ?
Been trying to download since the begining of pre-download period and so far all my attempts have failed with either an error code or just a restart of the download to 0%.
And since the SOY’s statement on the sticky proved to be wrong (we’re way passed ultimate release now…), it’d be great if we could have even the slightest bit of information about the situation, a simple “we’re working on it” will do.
We paid for a game that we can’t play, this can’t go on forever and like many people i’ll just ask for a refund if nothing is communicated in the coming days.

same problem here. was at 15gb today in the morning. started again, broken at 19gb and now starting again…
i have the same problem. Really frustrating… still cant download the game… keep getting an error and restart to 0% every time.
Was supposed to be fixed yesterday, i dont see a difference today…

So for this problem on your guys end are we going to be refunded or compensated? Because I paid $100 to play early access and that’s no longer a possibility. I have friends with a Xbox playing and having fun while I sit here waiting for a fix meanwhile I’m losing out on the early release. It’s not even a download problem for me, I can’t even get to that part as with many others. I know its definitely not on my end with a 250/mbps download connection and a HDD with well over 100gb of free space. A lot of us feel cheated. People have been releasing games for years and years without a hitch. This should not be acceptable.

Guys I tried all kinds of things, like opening the run box and typing ( WSReset.exe ) and that didn’t work. But I went to start and typed in APPS AND FEATURES found the STORE and clicked ADVANCE OPTIONS in the small text then hit RESET and it is now downloading for me. Please try this and see if it works and please reply if it does!
start - settings (cogwheel icon) - apps & features - store - advanced options - reset
this worked for alot of people to make the downloads work again.

Not sure if it was coincidence or not. But after I did this mine did complete. So it’s at least worth a shot.
I’ve tried pretty much everything nothing worked, that’s why i’m asking for an update.
But good to know it’s being worked on, just hoping it won’t take too long, i want to play ! 
I have the same problem. Resetting the windows store and all other “solutions” i found in the www did not work. This is very frustrating, i already downloaded nerary 300gb and still can not play. I am very disappointed and i am thinking of give the game back. A official statement (and maybe some free cars for this disaster) would be great, but sadly a very poor customer service from microsoft,/Turn 10.
2nd on resetting the microsoft store.
it worked for me so far. didn’t even start DLing but now I’m at LEAST DLing the file.
I’ve tried wsreset, and using the store troubleshooting app. Doesn’t work. Most painful is that my download is around 70 GB when the download failed, 6 times already.
Is it something to do with Windows 10? I used to enroll to Windows Insider Program, but when the build starting to show some onedrive bugs, I opted out and went back to regular Windows version again.
It doesn’t seem related to hardware, but here are my specifications:
Ryzen 7 1700X
16GB RAM
storage:
Cosair Force MP500 256 GB (Windows)
Samsung 750 EVO 500 GB (installation folder)
Another SSD and two HDD, but I don’t think that’s relevant
i was having this problem for like 2 days but it failed 95gb both times but yesterday i rued and it worked downloading through the windows store
make sure there is nothing on wifi just you pc

Come on guys , this game is impossible to download , i tryed everything and it keeps to restart alone .
I have a 7MBPS connection , it takes 2 days to arrive at 80 GB and it restarts .
it’ s incredible how bad this store is , first and last time i buy a game from windows store , really unacceptable !!!
Still having problems with the Microsoft Store downloads on PC here too. Tried every trick and talked to 3 support agents. Told to sit and wait, they are working on it.
Another failed attempt, this time at arround 50Gb and without any error message.
I’ve noticed that the download failed as soon as i launched another game (The Witcher 3) installed on the same HDD as where i’m downloading FM7.
