So I bought the game on the 2nd and I’ve been trying to download it ever since.

I tried to install the game on the night of release but the download was so slow it was going to take days. I left it overnight and when I came back the game had stopped downloading at 20GB gave me an error and started again. I decided I would try again and chalked it down to the game not being out when the download started.

I left the download going most of the day of the 3rd and over the night. When I last checked up on my PC it was 81GB (Nearly there I thought!). I went away for 3 hours or so and came back and the download had restarted… I was now back to 1GB.

I;ve been trying to download this game for days, and I really don’t want to just give up and get a refund, any tips on how I can get this game installed?!?

2 things you can try

1 : start - settings (cogwheel icon) - apps & features - store - advanced options - reset
2 : update to the latest windows insider preview build (fast ring) , alot of people said this fixed the store download problems.

Im currently 15gb into download attempt #4 after resetting the windows store. If it fails again I will try the insider preview build!

After a long 4 days of trying to get the game downloaded, I have finally managed to get it downloaded!!! Man the windows store takes forever!

Played my first race of the game and everything ran smoothly and as I had hoped :slight_smile:

So did you end up on the insider build? I just reverted back because the build wasn’t desirable to use on a daily basis… I lost all my download progress as well so I hope the Windows store issue is fixed

haha tried 50mbps and still got struggles dang it

now I am at 40/95 in 2 hours

hopefully can finished downloading before evening

if even 50mbps is a big struggle then I guess 100mbps aint even enough and probably 1gbps is the only way to beat the bugs store server

No I just reset the store, I was only getting about 5mbps on average so it took an age!
