Chryslus Rocket 69

Everyone who played Forza 6 or Fallout 4 should get a code. It will be messaged to you by Xbox, it is not an in game message.

Not sure if this hasn’t already been mentioned, but you really aren’t missing much with this car. I’m just sayin’.

I have to respectfully disagree. Yes it’s slow for its class, and limited in terms of modes it can be used in, but it’s certainly unique and very enjoyable to learn how to get the most out of.

Can someone at T10 have a chat with whoever sets the gear ratios on cars that come with an adjustable gearbox? Nearly every one has first so tall that the cars refuse to take off properly.

Its a rather piss poor job.

It’s up to you to set the years to suit the mods you e made. You’re given the opportunity to set them high or low, depending on the track you’re on, the tyres your got on and tyre pressure.

Plus engine mods, flywheel changes end clutch changes.

I’ve not had many ā€˜stall’ on take off. As it’s also a ,after of adjusting you revs and acceleration style. There’s always a way to get the best you can out of a gearbox and clutch assembly.

If you can snatch 2nd fast enough, and you can use the tourque to get you moving, and try and not to floor it on launch like SO MANY ppl do. Less is sometimes more, or a middle ground.?

Feather the acceleration to find the best revs to have it on the countdown, then find the right way to accelerate and then grab a gear out of the gate.

Not perfect for all car of course.

Just jump onto say track and try different methods to use… It takes time, effort and a little bit of know-how and you’ll get there…

Perseverance is what you want…

Have not been on my Xbox in over a month…but I picked up a code and will not be using it so early bird gets the worm…

If it doesn’t work it means someone else got it…don’t send me messages about it…lol.

Ha ha. It’s gone already!

Enjoyed the HMA on this car, would have loved to hear more about the technical side of its implementation though - how it differs from other cars in the game, stuff like that.

Quick side note on this car:

  • The Rocket is selectable in the new multi-class lobby. Hope that sticks because the car can be a monster on the Oval’s and Le-Mans, when tuned right.

So here is the kicker and i need help with … lol …I got sent the code for this car entered it last week …Log in today and no car and it show on my dlc but when i click it says page been moved or cant be found …What do i need to do …H E L P ( did not show up in game or on my downloads at all )

E D I T never mind i fixed it

I own both fallout and Forza but didn’t receive code even though. I was sent mail saying I was what gives

You need to check your Xbox Live messages, hit the Home button on the controller, then go to the left sidebar and go down to the double/chat bubble icon. You should see a message saying something like ā€œThanks for playing Forza/Falloutā€¦ā€ Or similar message. Open it and hit Redeem Code at the bottom of the message. Once it’s downloaded, you can buy it free from the Cars dealer (any other buys cost 1million credits).

do i have to have both games on xbox one?

No you only have to own EITHER NOT BOTH

Also it’s going out to different territories in waves, so it may have just not come through yet. They’ll still be sending them out during may according to their press release.

Not sure if I fell for the clever marketing or if it was because I found the game for £15, but today I bought Fallout 4.
Not my usual kinda game, but I’m enjoying it so far. Only problem is, it’s not very noob friendly. Gonna take some time to get to grips with menus/options.

Now, if T10 want to send me a armoured Gallardo to use, I’d be very grateful

Thanks for the offer, I may take you up on it soon.

I can say that Fallout 4 is a bit harder, at least initially, than it’s more immediate predecessors, Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. From what I here, the first two Fallouts aren’t exactly forgiving. It’s not too bad though, stick with it! I haven’t played the game in a little while, but here are some immediate tips I can think of.

-Stay in the beginning area for a little while. For now at least. By beginning area, I essentially mean the top-left corner of the map.

-Loot around Concord when you can. Lot of helpful stuff for people just starting out.

-For weapons, try to stick with a pipe pistol and 10mm pistol, and then a good melee weapon or two starting off. Obviously we all want to use Assault Rifles and Missile Launchers first thing, but some of those guns don’t even spawn in the game until level 25ish, and even if you do acquire one early, ammo will be scarce for it (for now).

-Don’t rush in the game, but don’t linger for too long either. Some quests can be done when you feel like it, some…you should try to do earlier than later. Nothing bad will happen if you don’t, but don’t be surprised if you sit there and say ā€œI could’ve done this quest much earlier.ā€

-I know this is a bit of a contradiction of my first tip, but go to Diamond City as soon as you feel comfortable. You open up quite a few stores and have access to Piper and Nick Valentine (a bit later) as companions.

-Scrap all the things in Sanctuary. All the things.

-Make sure to have a base of operations (Sanctuary, or the Red Rocket Stop if you prefer). At that base, store equipment that you don’t need (perhaps not yet at least), and store crafting ingredients there as well.

-There will be some areas in the game that are just too dangerous when you start off. Generally, and I even think the game says this as a little tip in the loading screens, the more south you go, the more dangerous it is, especially the south-left corner; that’s an area that is known as The Glowing Sea. You’ll get there eventually.
–There will also be some locations where you should return with your Power Armor.

-Don’t use your Power Armor too much initially though, not until you have enough Power Cores. When is enough enough? That’s something you’ll have to decide for yourself.

-I’d start at the lowest difficulty setting possible. Ammo, Power Cores, and Stimpaks are more plentifully found there, and enemies are easier to kill (ie- less health)

-If you see a skull next to someone’s name, RUN. Unless you think you can handle it.

-Stay away from Swan’s Pond. Until you’re ready. It’s in Downtown Boston.

-When you level up and choose a perk, choose perks that benefit your playstyle best. For example, if you like guns, perhaps choose perks that give you more damage and allow you to craft better attachments for guns.

-There’s tons of guides on YouTube for help and advice, quest walkthroughs, best places to go early, and so on. Use them if needed! Also, here’s a link to the Fallout Wiki. From there, you can look up pretty much anything.

-Above all else, SAVE. AND SAVE OFTEN. Quicksave or ā€œHard Saveā€, either works.

That’s all I got for now. I’m sure ParanoidDoge has some tips of his own he can give you.

Furthermore, apologies for going off-topic.

Anyone take this thing around the 'Ring yet? I’m curious myself.
