True. I’m having a blast with the Porsches, but I couldn’t help load the Rocket. I don’t have Fallout of any version either. Oh, it’s a one-speed tranny and is slightly faster than the Ultima. It corners like a whale on main street.
Give it missiles and machine guns and turn it loose in the lobbies!
You’ll have to play FO4 on the XboxOne it sounds like.
As part of the partnership, players of Fallout 4 on Xbox One will receive the Chryslus Rocket 69, a fictional car from the Fallout universe, which will be made available in Forza Motorsport 6 in 2016.
It does just say play though. Maybe logging in on a friend’s console who gets FO4 and playing a bit will work if you’re part of the PC master race or not getting FO4 at all.
No, not usually. However Project CARS was, because it was terrible. I’m pretty sure it’s the only game MS had allowed refunds on digital downloads due to the game being broken!
Not entirely true. I have had a digital purchase refunded in the past. But you do have a very limited time to do the refunding, and must have a very valid reason to request a refund as well. I had gotten the Battlefield 4 Premium DLC refunded due to not even being able to connect online with it during the first week the game was out. Took the game back, called Xbox and told them about the issue, of which they verified I had been unable to use the product, and they refunded me the $50 for it.
Now if you were to just buy a game, just to get the benefit of that in another game, no they will not refund you for that. Usually digital purchases are final as stated in all the fine print. But with extenuating circumstances, they can and have issued refunds.
Now all this said, I wouldn’t recommend you try to scam Xbox with whatever ‘reason’ you may come up with just to get your money refunded to you just to acquire a car in Forza. Because it can very well be seen as scamming.
So I have to buy a garbage game I have no interest in, to get a car in Forza 6 now? I love Forza I really do, but wow come on Turn10, this is a bit much. The movie thing is one thing, and understandable… but having to buy an entire game? No… this isn’t right.
It’s an opinion. My personal opinion at that. So no, it really isn’t a slippery slope at all. I tried Fallout 3 (gave it a few hours worth of time), and was not impressed with the game at all. Not everyone will like the same games.
Actually, opinions can be wrong. My newphew, when he was four, used to say that Tim Tebow was the greatest NFL quarterback of all time. Was he entitled to have that opinion? Of course. Was it incorrect? Definitely.
Not liking a game (or anything, for that matter) because it isn’t your cup of tea is just fine. Saying it’s garbage because you don’t like it, when pretty much universally it’s recognized as being great, makes the statement false.
If you aren’t interested in the Fallout games, then you should have no interest in the make-believe car from the games. Also, you might dislike the games, and yes it is your opinion, but merely stating you have no interest in the games gets the point across just as well, making sure to say its garbage as asking for others to respond to you about it. You are asking for attention, don’t whine when you get it.
I agree with you having an opinion on a game. I support you stating it, even. Further more, I haven’t even played the game.
However I disagree with your premise: It is unfair that you do not have access to a car others whom have purchased a $60 game have access to.
It’s a brilliant, although very aggressive, marketing scheme. The end result is that you don’t get a car, friend. It’s not that much of a kick in the teeth, is it?
