Went to freeplay race, chose Suzuka (Day), got Suzuka around sunset with sun almost touching horizon. As you correctly guessed, half of track you can’t see pretty much anything with Forza 7 crap HDR “lighting”.
I remember in career mode I drove normal day Suzuka, around mid day. Where it is? Can I get it into freeplay races instead this uplayable mess?
You can only get to choose Day or Rain but you won’t have control on the type of day scenario - that will be created randomly by the game.
I’ll try to start several races and see if one of them brings normal day Suzuka.
It actually worked. Next freeplay race I selected Suzuka and it was mid day. But the next track was “day” Lime Rock and the the time of the day was just after sunset. The definition of blackness.
Why this game is dead set to annoy you every minute?
Hope next Forza Motorsport will future dynamic lighting and option to choose time of the day like Assetto Corsa.
