My vote is in!
Hey Zo6, why so droopy? It’ll get better.
Here is the same car as it appears in the first Forza Motorsport. To my knowledge, it is also one of the oldest 3D models in the series, dating back to some of the first FM1 builds that were created around 2002 or 2003
The in-game model didn’t have the air dam underneath the front bumper. How depressing.
Right? Not to mention the black horizontal grills on the tail lights which were never on factory C5s
This has now been bug-logged!
Gran Turismo had an accurate model of the C5 Z06 in GT5 and GT6. If it’ll come back to GT7, its model will be remade for sure.
Found a recent Reddit post about it: Reddit - Dive into anything
From somebody who owns a C5 in real life!
before you start trying to find every single inaccurate car in forza, i’ll just spill the beans right away; a lot of original models from the first few games are just ported onto newer installements and are subdivided/polished. so long story short, anything that hasn’t been remodeled from FM1/FM2/FM3 (since they started using laser scanning only with FM4) is or HAS to be inaccurate to a certain extent. perfect example of that being the new 2.5 Soarer in FH5 versus the old SC300. they’re nearly identical but once you overlay the models there are slight differences that make the Soarer look truer to life. Hope this helps and have fun browing the dealership !
(edit: i just randomly stumbled across this thread as I was joking about the S15 with a friend and thought it could be valuable information in case you didn’t know!)
Exactly! Maybe T10 should ask them if they’d want their car laser-scanned! WIN-WIN!
Corvette C5 is now returning to GT7.
GT still managed to maintain the accuracy of its model proportions.
Too bad GT7 costs either $630 or $770. And then I’d need to buy a new wheelbase to play it…
No deal.
The speedometer needle length is wonky when you get into triple digit speeds.. the needle is a hair too short, unless it’s the actual number placement in the speedometer that’s off… or both. Anyone else notice this? If you have FH5, you should compare the 2, sincerely.
