Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 '95 - Inaccurate Car Model

This has persisted since Forza Motorsport 5. Although it’s not as badly modelled as the Z06 C5, or the Grand Sport which it replaced, it could still do with some improvements.

The car seems to be a little bit too wide and the front ride height is too low. The lights on the bumper are too big and severely lacking in detail and texturing, and the corners around the turn signals are not rounded enough. Competition Yellow is also inaccurate as it should be a more orange shade of yellow.

The rear of the car is mostly okay, but the tail lights are spaced slightly too far apart and suffer from the same untextured look as the front lights. They lack the refraction effect that can be seen with the Corvette ZR-1 in Gran Tursimo 7. The exhausts also sit too high into the bumper and stick too far out. The Corvette flags emblem behind the rear window is also slightly too big.

The side profile is also not too bad, apart from minor inaccuracies. The side mirrors are incorrectly shaped, the B pillar seems to lean slightly backwards, the front lip also appears to be too short and the recess below the door handle is too square and isn’t rounded enough in the corners.

Overall, while the ZR-1’s model was an improvement over the Grand Sport’s Xbox 360 car model, a rescan of this car would go a long way.
