The 2009 Chevrolet Corvette is a car that as much as I like, I personally refuse to drive in FORZA because of how inaccurate and disproportionate the car model is.
The realization occurs when you observe the car, its front end, rear deck and rear end. It seems as if the car was stretched and is based on the standard C6 body. The car’s proportions are simply off when you notice front nose, front splitter, hood, rear end and taillights. The whole car model is inaccurate and less detailed than the model in GT7
The 2009 Corvette ZR1 is one of the few Chevrolets in FORZA that truly needs a full rescan and remodeling. Thank you for listening to our feedback.
What’s been happening to C6 Vettes in Forza can be described as “punishment”, but for what? They’re not bad cars, and even if they were they don’t deserve to be barely included and in so poor condition in each title. At least they picked the ZR1 model, which at least is better than the FM2 Z06, but still nothing to write home about.
There was one in Motorsport 1, and the Z06 that debuted in Motorsport 2 might just be based on it, however the other two may not be…
I remember checking this with a friend in Motorsport 4, what we found is that all 3 C6es featured in that game (GS, Z06, ZR1) had different dimensions, with the Grand Sport being the widest. Perhaps we made some mistakes there, but surely extracting all the models and comparing them in some 3D modeling software would give us answers.

If we compare the Corvette C6 models in Forza series, it is known that only the Z06 had an inaccurate model. The Grand Sport and ZR1 looked decent.
C6 Z06 debuted in FM2, GS and ZR1 debuted in FM3. So it’s clear that FM3 got the 2 other C6 Corvette models right. Hell, the Corvette Grand Sport and ZR1 have decent-looking models for an X360 game like FM3. FM2’s Z06 didn’t. So if the Z06 were to come back to the new Forza titles, it should be remodeled, while the Grand Sport should be given a retexture.

I thought I was just seeing things, but no, the front bumper and splitter in Forza are actually a combined single piece, whereas in real life they’re clearly separate.

The Corvette C6 ZR1 came from FM3, but I think that and the Grand Sport have decent models compared to the C6 Z06 from FM2, as I mentioned above. Not sure if there’s anything else wrong aside the front splitter?
Okay… gonna compare it with GT7’s C6 ZR1 model.

I don’t know how to properly describe it but the whole body looks very low quality, it’s not really deformed but like every panel looks like it’s not smooth, and the lights are obviously lacking detail, same with the factory wheels. Something feels wrong with the front end proportions as well, almost as if the front bumper was slightly stretched up
