change driver view???

I am on the xbox one and wonder how to change the drivers view?

Other racing games I think you could push x, y, etc to change the view?

I tried every button. Perhaps I can’t change the view?

Hit the big X button on your controller… then push the start button… go all the way down and click A.

Just kidding… I think its the select button. The button on the bottom left of the big X button.

Well, you’re not sounding rude, but you sound arrogant. Obviously, if the person is asking, it’s because he/she does NOT remember. I, for example, remember that was covered, but forgot the specifics because I always use cockpit view, but my nephew wanted to change the view… Just saying. Bottom line, you came and criticized, but you did not even ANSWER THE QUESTION… people!!!

It may be covered in the opening sequence, but we do forget. And the accidental brushing of the button can change the view during a race. It isn’t so bad if you’re doing your own race, but others unless you remember what it is you’re stuck in that view. In a career race, you can hit Pause (three vertical lines button, the old “start”) and then change it from the menu, and resume.

As for “dizzy” stuff, from the main game menu, go into Forza Profile, then HUD. The first line is CAMERA VIEW, which gives us choices of Bumper, Hood, Cockpit, Chase Near and Chase Far. Those are the “steady” settings. The next line down is CAMERA MOTION EFFECTS with either ON or OFF choices. I have OFF selected because it does make me dizzy, too.

For some reason when I try to press the 2 screen button it won’t change my pic, and I don’t really like 3rd person, nobody has an answer to this do far

Ok. Quite a few people here have missed something important and have been arrogant with their replies also. I had to search Google for the same reason as the back button (double squares button) was doing nothing. I’m sure others have come to this forum for the same reason. The reason is that you have a mod selected to give a bonus for the view that you’re using. Remove this mod and you can change the view. Why there’s no pop up to say this in game, I don’t know.
