Unable to change view using controller setup

Dear Forums,

When using a pad, I’ve always preferred the setup that utilizes the right analog stick as throttle and brake, the right trigger as the handbrake and the left trigger as the clutch. I believe it’s controller setup 12…or so it was in FM5. Anyway, my question is regarding changing views. When having this setup selected in the demo, none of the buttons allow you to change views (Chase, hood, cockpit, etc.)
I’ve tried messing with the settings, changing all possible options available for that setup, but none of them actually enable a button to change views. I didn’t experience this issue with any other controller setup.

Anyone know a solution to this?

Yes. I tried to change this also but, had no success. It seems that button re-mapping is limited unfortunately.

Dang, that sucks. Anyway of notifying the devs about this?

You can change your view in the HUD settings. But you have to do it every time you want to change your view. It sucks but there’s no other solution.

That stinks. It’s strange that this is a new problem. Never had this issue with any previous Forza title

Same Issue with Control Layout 11 the button we use to start events was are view button on Forza 5 xbox one. I hope they alter or patch it soon, kudos for adding more controller layouts than horizon 1 tho they just need to fix this one glaring issue, I love shifting on the right thumbstick even tho its very challenging when u add a clutch, but its my chosen layout so I’ve learned to make it work…

I like shifting with the stick as well, goofy the camera view was forgotten in that controller layout.

I also shift with the stick on setup 11 my LB does nothing, It would be nice if they could make it change view or somthing
