Hi y’all, I’ve been playing since FM2 and tuning since FM4, I’ve always made tunes but i’ve been especially enjoying it this game and I’ve noticed A LOT of people just make max build AWD Racing V12 swap tunes so I’m here to keep us grounded.
What I do: I try and keep cars as realistic as possible - no drive train swaps and conservative engine swaps, though I do and will continue to make “leaderboard cars” as well. I use the power of math and driving to tune each car, first a base tune and then I drive it in different scenarios to fine tune them. Below I’ll list the type of car followed by a breakdown of each class. I do every tune but drag tunes, i have nearly 400 cars so if you want something done, ask here, if you want a tune re published with a new break pressure also ask here, I set race break pressure to 100-110 and rally from 85-95.
These tunes are all built for all assists off, can be used with both normal and sim steering (I switch between the two). I will put asterisks around cars that are expert level and should have TCS on unless you want that fun factor (i sure do). Most cars have stock aero unless I felt they couldnt carry their speed properly.

Ferrari 812 Super Fast Near stock beast Full tune and some upgrades but car remains relatively stock, lot of fun and competitive
Mercedes AMG 2017 GT R Stock ENG+DTRN Cant stress enough how sinful it is to swap this cars stock engine, try this out you wont regret it.
Ferrari FF BEAST a good car for online lobbies since it comes stock AWD
Porsche Cayman GTS Tuned 4 circuit has the widebody kit and handles perfectly, similar to the 650s
Saleen S7 TRACK SLAYER basically the name, this thing is a leaderboard car, it has it all.
Alfa Romeo P3 RACE not that great but its funny beating your friends in this thing, you get it with the Edinburgh castle
Dodge 2016 Viper ACR Forget the tune name but look up my name, this thing is glued to the road. tops out at 180
