I use Forzatune 7 for camber and toe, roll bar settings, and rebound and bump. Gearing is pretty much what I have picked up earlier from a real car tuner. 1st is 2.68, 2nd is 1.74, 3rd is 1.30, 4th is 1.00, 5th is .80 and 6th is .64, I then adjust final speed at the top. Aero and ride height are set to low in the front and high in the back. However i set the front downforce for low to improve steering. Brake force I set high to improve rear braking and less pedal down. I also follow Forzatune for the acceleration except for drifting. I’m learning that. I hope this helps the new tuners out there.
Forzatune 7 is how I got to rank 5 on tuner, almost rank 6. I use it to preset everything and then manually tune it myself. Apparently, people who download tunes, only like awd with a lot of horsepower(noobish). I don’t do drivetrain swaps, but that doesn’t mean I don’t tune cars that are awd. I also don’t do engine swaps. There’s only been a few that actually like the tunes despite how good the tunes really are.
I like to load up speed and stability…on custom Elmsdon on the Sea races I set unbeatable for the AI and set my end to insane (but go to manual transmission instead of the clutch. I use the G920 with stick and am able to drop from 6th to 4th or 4th to 2nd without going through other gears. For cars with 7 gears I use the paddle to upshift from 6th then back to the stick for all the other downshifts.
