Hey fellas,
Noticed quite a few cars made it to F6 with glitchy shift animations.
-
The Ford F-150 has no shifting animations at all (as do other cars as well, I’ll put a list together later)
-
The Chevy Super sport sedan has a glitchy peddle shift animation; the driver flicks his hand to indicate upshifts, but on the downshifts, there is no animation at all… only his sleeve moves a centimeter.
-
There are several others cars where shifting animation is not there at all.
Can you guys think of more?
Please add to the list. Thanks!
I think most of the cars that you can see a shift lever in bother me. To see his hand move and change gears and yet the position of the gear lever never moves is just silly. C’mon guys, how hard come something like that be?
Uhm in case of the Ford F-150 (and a lot of other SUV’s), I always assumed if the cockpit view doesn’t show shift animations that the vehicle is equipped with an automatic transmission?
Okay then… how do you explain no downshift animation at all on the Chevy super sport sedan? There is one other old school muscle car that has no shifting animation at all, even though it has a stick-shift IRL. Will get back to you guys with a more comprehensive list.
I already checked them.
There are 2 classic muscle cars that don’t have any shifting animation in game, the 1970 Buick GSX and the 1968 Oldsmobile Hurst/Olds 442. I first thought this was a bug in the game but if you look up both cars on Wikipedia, those classics did have an option for an automatic transmissions back in the days. So I don’t think it’s something Turn 10 forgot, I think the cars we have in game are ment to be with automatic transmission.
About the Chevy SS I don’t know, I don’t have that car yet I think or at least lever drove it.
Would rather have better handling and damage simulation than a few silly animations… ‘how hard can it be?’ You ask. Quite. Very time consuming for something so very minor
