I’m making this as an additional post incase the Devs wish to track it as a separate issue to my previous one about the lack of gear tuning - Cars - 2021 Volkswagen ID.4 - No Gear Tuning when left RWD (3933733)
Platform: All
Version: 3.636.732.0 (XSX/MS Store)
This bug is just a general issue on all platforms with the 2022 Volkswagen ID.4 that is awarded for completing 20 Points of Series 31: Autumn.
Due to the Lack of Gear Tuning with the RWD model of this car - Bug Report here - the PI on this model is completely broken if you give the car the 670BHP Race Motor Conversion/Upgrade.
The PI calculation is extremely low when applying upgrades in a similar situation as the Jaguar I-Pace and Raesr Tachyon have when they’re given the Drift Transmission upgrade (which led to those models being banned from Open/Rivals).
You can almost completely max the car with upgrades as long as it’s left RWD and given the Race Motor Conversion, from here it will be limited to D Class due to the very low top speed of only around 160-170km/H.
This can be seen in the stats where the 670BHP Race Motor conversion to the stock RWD car drops the PI from C527 down to D431 despite an increase of 350kw of power and 695n.m of torque.
The obvious solution is to ban the car from Open/Rivals like the Raesr Tachyon and Jaguar I-Pace are as this is clearly an unintentional way to get some incredible performance on short tracks with no need of top speed (like Cathedral Circuit or Bolo Ocho).
Ideally though the Stock RWD Transmission would be given the ability to be tuned and have the PI calculated properly as a result but I doubt this is possible looking at previous occurrences of this issue.
