The fix introduced with the Series 27 update now makes it impossible to put vinyls on the hood of the 718 Cayman GT4 RS, liveries created prior to the update will not show the vinyls on it at all and it is carbon no matter what.
The solution to the previously reported bug could have been to make the hood paintable, but this just caused another issue. Please make the carbon hood either paintable or add another one in Upgrades that is, thank you.
After the November update, it is no longer possible to use 2 of my liveries for GT4 RS because of unpaintable hood. Please, will it be paintable or unpaintable like 997 GT2 ? Or can’t it be made customizable with multiple painting options on the main body ?
Why on earth can’t you even get such simple fixes right without negatively impacting existing work? It’s by far not the first time something like this happend. The “bugfix” for the unpaintable parts of the 2018 911 GT2 RS is an other prime example in this relation. In this case you managed to outright destroy all liveries that existed for this car with your “fix”. Wasn’t that enough and didn’t you learn anything from it?
This needs to be escalated upwards to somebody who actually cares and has a say on that matter as it’s obvious that the people who work on and test such things aren’t fit for the job. This is simply a disgrace for your company and a slap into the face of all the concerned painters…AGAIN!!!
As you can see the front window is black if you look through the side window(s) now. This wasn’t the case before your “fix”.
Get your act straight. I’m done with your constant display of utter incompetence and half-baked fixes.
/edit: Updated the GFX software/drivers yesterday and was greated with the “optmizing your PC…” message again when starting Forza today. Had a short look at the Porsche and it seems the window bug is gone. But I only had a short look under different lighting conditions. I’ll take a closer look next time and will report back.
