Continuing the discussion from Cars - Porsche GT4 RS 2022 - hood is not paintable - 3916798:

This has not been completely fixed!

Now vinyls can be applied, but the hood is still not paintable. We went from hood gets body paint to hood stays carbon no matter what to hood gets stickers but stays carbon. Can we please get “hood gets vinyls and the option to be painted in default and other colours”?

The developers have investigated this and determined this is by design. The hood is made with Carbon Fibre and that material is not supposed to be paintable. The other bug we fixed back then allowed the hood to be paintable but no liveries could be sticked on. Liveries now can be applied but it won’t be paintable.
