In the new Hummer EV landing from big jumps and smashing objects count as collusion, which make getting sizeable skill chains near impossible.
It more cars that have this problem, I have been trying to track all of them down when I have some free time.
So far I found the following cars have a real issue with breaking skill chains in an illogical and inconsistent way.

An easy way to test it is to start a skill chain and then very slowly drive along a road rail and do a full turn into it so that your front tire is the first thing to collide.
That of course only works if the front tires are somewhat exposed.
As far as I know these cars are new additions and I would make an educated guess that there’s something wrong with the way new cars are made. So I suspect there are more cars with this problem but it may be harder to trigger if the tires aren’t exposed and then it probably shows itself in various situations like jumps and so on. Perhaps other new models are mainly driven on roads and therefore is this skill chain issue is less likely to show itself.
Personally it makes me avoid driving them since it’s really an bad experience in any game where a game reward mechanic has an illogical behaviour and punish the player for something that should be rewared, as in doing real offroad wrecking in any of these cars is like a skill chain russian roulette where skills is more or less the only thing that doesn’t matter.

In some cases bugs will not be fixed due to a variety of reasons. The developers have noted this issue as “Too minor for prioritization”
