Title says it all. The 2021 Volkswagen Golf is displaying the incorrect model year in-game; the correct year should be 2019. The Mk7 Golf R ended production in 2019, and only the Mk7 Golf GTI continued production until 2021.
This mistake has been an issue ever since the car was added to Forza Horizon 5’s Car Pass on February 17, 2022. I reported it to Forza Support before and linked a Motortrend article as proof, but they dismissed it, stating that “it is as intended”. I’m honestly surprised that this issue has gone unnoticed for the most part, and I hope it gets addressed.
