am i the only one that has noticed in forza motorsport 7 that the career track grip is noticeably diffrent? for example if you take the Radical into multiplayer the stopping difference and turn-in speed is quite diffrent than it is in career. Why is that? i know people in forza motorsport 4 were saying that there were differences on the track, but i never noticed it as much as i notice it in this game.
Maybe try someone elses tune and see if that helps…oh no, wait…

There should be no difference at all, you are still playing the game on your console, the servers just report your position back and forth to other players.

but there is even my friends swear by it and they race more than me.
I believe that Forza 7 takes track temperature into account so you may find that changes in the weather affect the performance. It may be that the weather presets for the online hoppers differ from those in campaign.
Coupled with the fact that people often drive a little differently in MP.
i have experienced choosing a car in private MP, start driving and right away feel that something is way off.
telling my friends and then back out of the race. Choose another car and then back to the car i was gonna drive.
Start the race again and everything feels fine.
I havent been really bothered about this as it has happened only 3-4 times out of 700 races give ore take as i have noticed.
What I do think happened is that the game dont bring my tune over when i choose the car. Its just the most logical explanation i have but dont take my Word on it as I have no real clue other than that i have experienced what i wrote abowe.
Try to back out and choose Your car all over and see if that helps.
There should not be any difference unless you are expriencing lag.
Ive had issues with inconsistent between different races that i never experience other forza. I could run 10 laps with 2-3 tenths differences between laps. Reload the same race and by off 1.5 second every lap. Either there is slight temperature difference or tunes dont load up properly.
That all being said playing against people vs playing offine will effect your driving. Throttle control is more important in FM7 and easy to lose time without noticing it.
