**This will be a list of CAREER tunes (Those pesky division max PI levels that don’t match up to the normal B600, A700 etc… Like the Ultimate Sprts Machines that have the new Shelby GT350R but it can only be tuned to A660 or the GT racing Modern GT Racing ( GT2,3, GTD) cars that can only be tuned to R865 instead of maxed out… or they become illegal.

Depending on weight distrib, but start by lowering rear spring 50-65% of front, and lower rear bump 55-75% of rear rebound. Reduce tirepressure, and keep in mind you can adjust abit on frontpressure to adjust over/understeer if no ARB.
Dont thouch the camber or toe yet. Dont touch ARB yet. Dont touch brakes yet.
Find a track thats as flat as possible so curving on track dont fool your telemetry. Test car without telemetry first and feel what need to improve. Drive a couple laps and set your best time. After crossing finishingline press start and make note of time. At same time go to tune and;
DONT do several changes at once.
If understeer early: Reduce front height or increase caster
If understeer midcorner when car is stable: Reduce front spring or increase front rebound a tad(0.2 at the time)
If understeer late: Increase front rebound and or reduce rear bump
If oversteer early: Increase rear bump/rebound
If oversteer midcorner: This depends on how car reacts. Check if springs bottom out and if they do the answer is obvoius, increase rear spring.
If oversteer midcorner and car is tight/stable: Reduce rear spring, reduce rear ARB or reduce rear height.
If oversteer late: Reduce rear height and or increase rear spring.
Now, after changing front OR rear on the car(one thing at the time), press B and go race again for a few laps. Its not easy to know if you are 1-2 seconds faster/slower by feel(as we all know from Jeremy Clarkson, what looks slow can be fast:-)), so check laptimes after every change.
There is ofcourse lots more(and precise, for instance you can find a calculator that gives you better springrate than just approx) you can do, but this is some pointers that hopefully will help those new to this. As you can see I havent mentioned much about camber/toe/caster, and that is because its a bit more complicated for this easy guide, and in Forza 6(as opposed to 5), you can get a decent car without messing too much with alignment. Caster gives you more or less turning on wheel, so this is somewhat diferent from player to player.
All my shared tunes are base (flash) tunes meant to do well across a variety of tracks but not be the fastest on the leaderboards necessarily.
I will put in the name or description if the car is for lobby racing, leaderboards time stints, and I will select a track in the options if the car is track specific.
You can find my shared tunes in the link I have in my signature.
I was going for specifically for those Divisions that can not be Maxed for the Class - Making a compilation of Tunes/Builds for them as its a pain scolling through - nope, nope, nope, nope… kind of thing.
*Example The Modern GT Division max spec to race in the division in career is R865 (most tunes out there are maxed out for the car which for the C7R is R876 and then that tune/build is illegal to use in the Career. and stock 814 - you get your but handed to you by the Drivatars (well at least it did to me - and admittedly I’m no super fast guy - but I’m not bad either - I even ran LMR Deftone’s stock C7R which is phenomenal by the way - but its just too under powered to compete against PRO Drivatars at R865.
I’ve downloaded a couple from you to check yours out in my multi million spending spree - but haven’t done much rivals yet except a couple of my bread and butter Ovals and a couple laps in a bunch of environments in S2000 tune by Rosny. I’m going to get out of my comfort zone and really go for it at some point - Trying Eagles’ 73 Trans am, ERS, Swerve, your A class GT86 sounded like fun to me, and I got a couple others - not sure which - as I’m a little under the weather and it was done during a spending spree. Basically everyone in the forums with well known names got followed as I went though and bought a car - then downloaded tune of cars that I thought I should get. This way when I do get back into MP - I won’t be so… race a car to death (though I am just like that — I will drive a car into the ground then get into the next one.
But right now I’m pretty singled minded into getting the Indy 250 showcase to unlock. But I thought it is a bit of a pain to find tunes for some of those divisions - Ultimate Sport Machines for instance: 2016 Shelby GT350R, the 2015 Z/28, Lexus GS350 can only be tuned to A661 or they become illegal - and it would be a descent resource to be able to go look at this thread and see hey I can pick up Drive’s 2008 M3 (e92) and go race in that career mode.
Also if T10 who spent this time of making the divisions does leagues to the specified levels then we will be ahead of the curve. Just I’m being slow to get it done and frankly there aren’t a lot out and shared because it not the normal forza way of maxing a class.
Thanks Claret posted up or send me a PM - might mirror this over at PTG forum - but most of you tune anyways so not so much an issue there - But maybe then Rosny. Mesa, Ducky or who ever that might make a tune for career will post them
I updated 2nd post
@CoastKey - I don’t know which alfa or Ferrari? or which series - so I’m missing a tune or two for you…
I really need to look up the tune I used for Ultimate sports Machines ( I was too busy playing with the 787B this weekend)
Made 3 versions of the Alfa 8C. (You need more info on what car than this??? Dont think its called other than 8C…)
2 at 660, with and without wing and
1 topped at 700. Its fast and in 10 place out of 23000 in its division on Monza. And Im not a good driver… (As it say, this was tested at MONZA)
And which series? Not sure why you need that info to test car. I used these cars several times during career and cant recall name of which I used where. I guess I used the Alfa on series that requires that car is max PI 660 and CTS-V on series that require max PI 650 but not on Xbox now. Not important for me to be part of this so no worries.
