Car Mastery and Perks

Car mastery? What need to complete it?

I will gain more Forza points. There is a one point about car mastery which counts 50 cars. The easiest way is complete common cars because they have few cards. But please tell me - on the count, we need buy races bonus (for 10 races) and second chance (25 points) to have car as complete on the site? Thanks in advance for the help.

I wanna complete car mastery for 50 cars on Forza Site. We need buy races bonus card and second chance (25 points) to complete?

You need to do the 2nd chance for 25 points
But not the temporary perks like 10 races

Yes

You don’t need the 10-race bonuses, but you do need the second chance on each car.

Thanks a lot guys!

I know you can get the 300,000CR perk on 7 cars from the formula drift pack and the porche 911 3.2, but i was just wondering if there are any other cars that have this perk that dont cost 150k to buy in the first place…

is there a list somewhere of all the cars with this perk?

The Nissan Fairlady Z432, but… it also costs 150,000!

Grab yourself an M6 FE, grind the aerodrome for skill points and farm the perks in the 150k cars. Doesn’t require putting up with the AI on the Goliath.

Hi there !

I didn’t see any thread indexing cars that gives the most influence boost per type of event so i thought it would be a great idea.
This would help people to know which car to choose to get the most influence & benefits out of their race.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For me skills, unlocking perks and masteries are an important feature of FH4.

Milouse at Kudosprime has collected data for approximately 89% of the car masteries.

Presumably the 50% mentioned above is made up from 30% for finishing events and 20% for the next 10 races.

This is the link for the finishing events perk at Kudosprime:

and this is the link for the next 10 road races perk:

Clicking in the box which reads “Click here” brings up a list of cars with that particular perk. It may not be exactly what you were looking for but the information could be collated fairly easily.

From the vehicles for which Milouse has collected data, there are only 7 which have a 30% perk for finishing events:

50%

1960 Aston Martin DB4 GT ZAGATO (Road)
1983 Audi SPORT QUATTRO (Dirt)
1964 Ford GT40 MKI (Road)
1973 Land Rover RANGE ROVER (Cross Country)
1997 Lotus ELISE GTI (Road)
1998 Nissan R390 (Road)
1998 Subaru IMPREZA 22B STI (Dirt)

All the 7 vehicles with a 30% finishing events perk have a 20% perk for the next 10 races.

Personally, to increase influence points and credits, I have found it quicker and easier building up skill chains and unlocking money perks and wheelspins.

Great, thanks a lot msb  !

Which car(s) are you advising to chain buy to unlock spins/money with the skill points ?
Might be better than doing goliath indeed.

I started by looking at the cars I aready own and unlocking money perks on them.

I then looked at cars with money rewards of 200K and 300K which weren’t prohibitively expensive. There’s my list of cars, money perks and purchase prices on this page. I bought 4 quite nice cars and unlocked 7 skill perks in each one. I had expected my money to reduce but instead it has increased by over 2 million. For these the Autoshow is of course better than the Auction House since you can be certain that the perks have not already been unlocked.

A couple of examples:
2007 Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione cost 300,000 but reward 300K so net cost is NIL
2016 Audi R8 V10 Plus cost 242,000 but reward 300K so net cost is minus 58K

I started in alphabetical order. Bought 2 Aston Martins in addition to the the Alfa and Audi and for once I was probably a bit lucky on the wheelspins.

Building skill chains in itself adds to your influence score and this way you are not only increasing your influence score and driver level but also credits and cars. Most people will be aware that 500,000 gives 10 skill points (72,000 x 7 or 50,000 x 10) so each time you reach that you should stop and get the points.

I’ve run across a few times where 2nd chance fails to work as intended. I’ve been racing my own custom route quite a bit as I get about 600+ skill points at the end of it using the MC12… but there are times I get tired and lose it to slam sideways to a tree and my 80k+ chain is lost.

Other times I hit a tree head on and I get to keep it… sometimes…but it seems the crash detector for the sides doesn’t register for 2nd chance.

It seems very situational at times… anyone have a problem or does it only work on certain crashes and parts of the car and I just need to live with it.

Same, but with a different car. Maybe hitting a single object registers as two hits on occasion?

I think what may happen is similar to when you slam into a wall head on and the car keeps going for a few seconds. You get the first contact, and then anything hard enough after that will kill your skill chain. I’ve made it a habit to try and go head on if I know I’m going to crash, usually bounce right off the trees or wall.

So I’m currently at 35/50 Car Masteries and I have no idea if I actually have to fill the entire Mastery tree or if I can leave out the odd one or two that’s never gonna get used.

Example: AM DB5 has the Extra Life and the Fan Favourite NOT completed. I’m probably never going to use this car, why do I need to spend 10 points on extra influnce in races won using it when I’m not going to use it?

Is mastery even worth it apart from the Wheelspins etc?

You dont need to Buy the limited use perks to complete the mastery…but you do need to get the extra life perk

I saw some time ago, an website that had tables, with filters, about each car’s mastery tree.
If anyone knows it, can you link it?

Thanks
