I may be losing my mind but my car collection rating hasn’t moved outside of straight buying an expensive car. I can understand the 50 points from free cars not moving the needle much, but I’ve gone through several driver levels and chosen the cars and the car collection animation has not popped up and it does not look like the bar has moved at all. What gives? Am I missing something?

Although it tells you, I’ve never actually kept track of how many points I need to level up. I just let the game do its own thing and don’t worry about it.

It doesn’t show that animation every time you buy a car, only if it gives you a considerable amount of points (about 1⁄4 of the points needed for leveling up).

Not that much have just hit Level 43 and to reach Level 44 I will need another 10,000 points to reach that level that is about 8 Tier 5 cars To see the Points Needed go to the Car Collector Tab and it is in the Top Right of screen Will show your total points and what the score needed to reach the next collection tier is. Also it looks like you need more points to reach each new tier as at the Moment I have 310,900 Points and Need a total of 320,000 to reach Tier 43
The most outrageous & exotic car of the moment, the Bugatti Chiron, is only worth 50 pts, what gives?
Because it’s DLC.

You do realize that you can go to the car collection screen and see your actual points total/points to next tier in the upper right hand corner?
