I’ve seen it written in a few places that increasing your collector tier increases the rewards you get. Though I’m at tier 23 and it’s been stuck at 50000 CR for so long I can’t remember. Same with max discount for cars. Stuck at 400000 CR.
Is this yet another bug in the game? Is something supposed to be increasing?

Yeah, I’ve never read anywhere that its supposed to increase. I’m at level 28 and I’m offered more and more legendries. Not sure where the OP is getting 50k from, it’s always been at 20k for cash. Got VIP?
Yup, I’ve got VIP. Collection tier 23, I can choose between 50k credits, a car at 400k discount, or a suit each time my driver level increases.

Plus pretty much every article I read that talks about FM7 and the tiers and rewards all echo this same idea: collect more cars to increase your rewards. Maybe one journalist just made it up, and then everyone else just copy-pasted? I dunno. I see no evidence that rewards increase with increased collection tier (beyond tier 5, obviously). I didn’t know maybe if I was missing something.
You get a star at Level Up 500 and it stops counting so you have to check your driver level in Xbox app to know where you from there on are at as I noticed it coincided with the level ups. I am now in a continuous loop of level 5 cars (Same 7-8) and the same Driver Suits which I guess the only way to change this is to buy them all. I have seen the same Driver Suits going around for 300 level ups I reckon because I am not really one to choose them even though there is a couple I wouldn’t mind they have been nowhere in sight. I thought someone had previously said here on the forum the offer can change to Mods but that would have to be confirmed and I haven’t seen any.
Should have put I am Tier 41 but forgot. I have seen Tier 42 kicking around but that must be from special edition cars like that Pizza one because duplicates don’t add to the score.
Same here Tier 41 As I did. not manage to get the 3 cars from the 2 bounty Hunters I did as could not get a decent lap tile or I should say I had a resonabel lap tip just not a steller lap time thoes 3 cars would hove put me over Tier 41 I will hit 42 with the new cars coming out Wednesday and then ther is the new DL pack due out,
And yep once you hit tier 10 I think it was or Driver level 10 not sure withch one you rewards freeze and never change is All ways 50,000 creds, 400,000 of a car or a Driver suits to sellect from. With one change once you have ammased 300 Driver suits you then get offered a 5 Pack of Mod cards instead of the Suits, and all are high end mods I normaly run long races with 3x 100% credit plus 3,.000xp mod cards in free play netting me about 1,500,000 in creds and 4 to 5 level ups and I can just about guarnatee I will get 2 or 3 legendary mod cards with 100% credit boost and 3,000xp with 3 uses each so by the time I have done 3 races I will have another 6 to 8 Legendary mod cards to use. 
So once ever 2 weeks I have a mod card clean out netting me up to 1,500,000 in mod card sales.

Yep once you have 300 Driver suits the sellection changes to 50,000creds Car with 400,000 cred Discount Or pack of 5 High end Mod cards same as the ones you get in the Most expensive mod car loot box. And once every 20 level ups or so I do a mod card clean out and sell all the ones I dont need for abour 500,000 to 1,500,000 depending what they are. If ya like I could pop up a screen shot so you know what im on about.
Just need to turn on the PC to do the links and what not.

Level 582 and it has been 50k whole time or at least I don’t recall it being 20k. With my memory, I wouldn’t rule it out either though and I am having my doubts already. I have VIP I am not sure if that makes a difference.
The whole car collection tier thing seems to be much ado about very little. If I recall correctly, the first few times you reach a new tier, the amount of the discount goes up, but I am at 23 and the last increase was long, long ago. And the whole unlocking cars by reaching a new tier… I don’t recall precisely how long it took to reach level 5, but I am sure it was with the first week of pre-release access starting.
It became completely and utterly meaningless after Level 5.
driver level doesn’t affect anything, collector level is supposed to increase the quality of discounted cars. cashout is always 50k
Something to be aware of (this is my experience) - once you’ve collected the majority of the Tier 5 cars with a 400k discount it went back to offering Tier 1 cars with a supposed 400k discount still. DON’T keep taking the free car, take the 50k as most of them cost less in the auto show.

I had a funny feeling that would happen so I bought all the available Level 1 and 2 cars with either cash or from the AH.
Btw, I was a bit confused about the 20k CR and 50k CR…every level up I get 20k then the option of 50k, a car, or a drivers suit like everyone else (non-VIP). Next car will be the Maserati Tipo 61 for 550k so I’m guessing +1750 is a super rare or legendary but should bump me up to 29.
I really enjoy the collecting side of this game.
Doesn’t make much difference. I took the Tier 1 and 2 cars via level up most of the time and got a few from AH as well as getting from Car Collection. Got offered the Tier 1 cars and some 2’s for about 30-40 level ups as Collecter Level 38/9 and it went on for what seemed like forever taking the 50K. Owning the cars regardless of where you got them does not seem to alter the pattern but I wondered if doing something in Careers does. I had finished everything except Sebring 300 which I did a month after finishing the rest due to bugs and the second I finished that which is Breakout the T1’s were offered. I finished Forza Cup real early and was offered T4/5 cars but didn’t always have the CR pre VIP fix.
From 5 on nothing changes anymore.
The whole collector system is useless and was only implemented because of the loot boxes.
Another thing worth noting, is if you take a free car at level up that you already own, you don’t get a second car, you get naff all. I wish the little garage icon would appear if you have it in your garage already. Not sure how this works with discounted cars mind, but I believe I paid 25K for an Indy Car only to find I’d already got it, and what’s more, I didn’t get a second one, so I just spent 25K on nothing…
I’ve been “skipping” level up rewards so that I can check my garage first, before taking the rewards.
That’s not annoying at all…
You don’t have to skip, just select the car. If you have it, it’ll tell you your collector score won’t increase because you’ve already collected that car. You can cancel out at that point and choose the money or suit.
I’m over halfway through tier 41, have all buyable cars, two totinos car(that’s a whopping 50 total towards collector level) and from the last rivals event, I only got the participation car. I think I’ve missed out on one other so far. No sure if this week’s SD card wil get me to level 42 or not.
I should add that I don’t have the masters elite mustang or the forza elite gt. Since I’ve already got the camaro, I doubt my score goes up after eliting the series before that forza cup.

That’s just a promo about the first 5 tiers. No bug or glitch.
T10 wants players to try as many cars as possible. They probably fast tracked the tier discounts so that everyone will have relative ease at getting expensive cars at a better price.
