I just picked up a gift from a barn, Apollo IE WP. Fine. I felt like re-gifting it. The game didn’t let me - “this car cannot be gifted”.
Um . . . what am I missing? Anyone know?

Hmm… I really hadn’t given it a thought if you could gift those cars, I know you can’t buy DLC exclusive cars from the auction house if you don’t have the DLC which is just about as close as I can think of.
Maybe the source of the car you were gifted was, how can I put this, not quote legitimate?

not quite legitimate maybe
there was an issue where some people received DLC cars when they didn’t have the DLC, can’t recall if VIP or WP or both
there has been an issue when playing completely offline, when sometimes DLC cars could be used, sometimes they couldn’t
point is the game isn’t always consistent in how it handles these things
mostly I was amused - how can I be gifted a car that cannot be gifted?!

Yeah, that’s a head scratcher. My first thoughts were DLC car or banned livery but still, if you get it as a gift you’d think it’s legit to regift. Some stupid bug. Have you tried turning it off and turning it on again ? lol Yeah, I’ll show myself out

The dlc cars are giftable if they fail to sell in an auction, otherwise not. Pretty sure it’s an oversight but it’s been that way since the beginning.

Any car that says it cant b gifted… if placed in auction…if it doent sell… can b gifted from auction menu…fdup …but doable

Unfortunately we are obliged to keep these cars from the barn, you cannot sell, donate, delete, in short, it doesn’t make the slightest sense, I hope that one day they change that, so that you can do whatever you want with them.
