Yeah, you have to upload it to the sarefront. Apparently the ability to gift cars will ruin the in game economy.
Its not a ruin the economy fear, but an exclusivity thing. I’m happy not many people have a Shelby Daytona coupe, I worked hard to get it and am happy not seeing hundreds of them on the road. I think they did right this time keeping to their goal this time and not gifting them like candy as in Forza 5.
That makes some sense, but why hold the community back in such a manner? Why does it matter what cars we have, and how we got them? Just kind of tired of game companies restricting people in this way. I just want freedom dammit! lol

You can upload paint jobs in FH2, you just can’t transfer paint jobs from FM5 to FH2 for whatever reason.
Once tokens come there will be no ‘exclusive’ cars to the grinders. Enjoy them while you can, but in the near future a lot of people will be driving them.

I don’t know if tokens are ever going to be involved but I do know that Forza Rewards definitely gives a significant amount. 2,100,000 every month to a tier 7 player. This makes it easy to buy even the most expensive cars in the game right now. Hardly a situation of exclusivity by my perspective. I would say that sending cars was more likely not featured because of all the modders and how it could very easily get people banned. Still happens on Forza Horizon with ‘neon’ cars all over the place.

I agree about the people taking advantage of the gift feature. It stinks because if used properly it is very useful. As someone who can’t create a decent design it really helped me out in FM4 with painters being kind of enough to fill requests. I found in FM5 the designs were not nearly as good as they were in FM4, I am not sure why, maybe a lot of painters didn’t make the jump to XBO? I used to have to sell off cars to make room for a car with a design I had to have, the choices were endless. In FM5 I would find maybe 2 or 3 I liked after going through hundreds of designs.
I’m not sure I understand. At Tier 6 you should receive 1,500,000 credits in Forza Horizon 2. Tier 7 increases the amount by 600,000. You get the same amount in Forza Motorsport 5, at least for this month.
Yeah, for this month I got 1.5 million, but you said every month Tier 7 gets 2.1 million. I thought it was only for this month? After the initial rewards Tier 6 goes down to 600k, are you saying Tier 7 continues to get 2.1 million? That would be crazy. lol
Not sure what you’re seeing, but I’ve always received the same amount each month for as long as I’m at that tier. From what I’ve seen … you should get 1.5M every month you’re tier 6 until you roll over to tier 7. Then you should get 2.1M every month after that.

Per a recent addition to the Rewards FAQ … monthly rewards for both FM5 and FH2 are as follows:
Tier 2 - 100,000 cr
Tier 3 - 200,000 cr
Tier 4 - 300,000 cr
Tier 5 - 400,000 cr
Tier 6 - 500,000 cr
Tier 7 - 600,000 cr
And rewards are cumulative across the Tiers. If you’re Tier 6 now, you get 1.5M per month (100K + 200K + 300K + 400K + 500K).
You see, that’s just too much (in my opinion.) Especially when you consider the double rewards in VIP, the difficulty bonus for experienced players and that all DLC cars are free. I miss the feeling that I’ve achieved something when I buy a highly sought after car.

I don’t know about you but people were always extremely liberal with their spending and gifted expensive cars around like crazy on Forza Motorsport 2-4. Then there’s the auction house where I could often get a very expensive car at a fraction of the price. Not to mention I always recall making silly amounts of money in single player, especially from level/affinity bonuses. The only thing I ever had to ‘work’ for were the achievements in 2 for getting all cars in all regions and even then I just hired a driver to do endurance for me.
I think it’s perfect honestly. But, I do still wish tokens would return.

I find it crap that you can’t gift cars considering the forza hub gives you tons of money as it is.
